I have recently left switched careers from being an active duty Air Force officer to launch a technology start-up. It was that previous job which originally led me to Columbia, but I like it here and have decided to stay. I enjoy traveling and exploring interesting places, quality coffee and wine, following current events and flying my airplane among other things.

It is easy right now for work-connected activities to consume random blocks of my time. However, I would really like to find someone to spend fun time with and hopefully find a nice long-term relationship.

Currently trying to start a company and some other smaller projects...

Books: Atlas Shrugged, The Great Gatsby, Freedom..., Plenty of Non-fiction...also enjoy good character development, creative plot twists and thoughtful philosophy...Not a fan of Fantasy or anything too silly...

Movies: Suicide Kings, Office Space, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Lord of War, Ronin, Team America, Jurassic Park, Eurotrip, Tmavomodrý Svět, Full Metal Jacket, South Park, Clerks, Goodfellas, Reservior Dogs, Enemy at the Gates, Blood Diamond, The Departed, Anchor Man, Casino Royal, Super Troopers, Obcan Havel, Body of Lies, No Country For Old Men, Slumdog Millionaire, Inglourious Basterds, lots more...

TV shows: Currently running: Breaking Bad, The Office, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter... I generally don't watch reality shows, but I just discovered Shark Tank which is pretty entertaining...

Music: I will listen to almost anything in its time, but dislike most gangster rap, older country/western, corporately-engineered pop etc. I have a lifetime Sirius radio subscription and use it to explore...

Food: Chipotle (steak burrito, black beans, hot sauce, sour cream, and cheese)--possibly the world's perfect food. ;-) I do like spicy food--especially Mexican, but my tastes are diverse and I like all kinds of stuff. I especially favor, hot peppers, mint, coffee, good mustard, pineapple, pears, beef, fried alligator, blackened fish, shrimp, spicy garlic wings at BW3's, fried catfish... I dislike: bananas, blue cheese dressing, crab/lobster, raw kiwi, most baked fish....

Never is a strong word...in a tough situation I could get on with very little, but things that I find important are: freedom, my integrity, respect of people I care about, worthwhile goals to pursue, coffee and internet access ;-)

I think a lot about what the future will bring and what path my life will take.

Relaxing after a long week... Either I go hangout with friends or relax at home.
