My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Further observations about what guys put on this website are sometimes hilarious and sometimes REALLY weird. I try to avoid both.

OK disclaimer over...

Hi! My name is Tyler. I'm a recent relocation to the NE Philly area. Its so much easier making it to South Philly now! Public trans is the perfect alternative to my car as well.

I've been able to travel a bunch and collect on life stories and experiences. Though I AM still a bit of an experience junkie I'm trying to be more oriented to the career right now (Video Production).

Personally, I'm a nerd/goofball rolled into one. But by no means am I timid. I tend to be confronting at work but laid back in in the after hours. Also if I'm comfortable around you and I can tend to be quite boisterous. I believe with all my soul that the journey is far more important than the destination.

I'm not very judgmental and very easy to get along with. You seriously have to be trying to not get along with me. Though I am a bit of a bad boy and am slightly indulgent. I'm always up for a good time or go somewhere new that I haven't been before.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in film/TV/media behind the camera at a rental house as well as freelancing. My goal is to get into cinematography and directing. I'm also into voiceover work. (Making up voices is something I do to entertain those around me... time to get paid for it).

In my free time I'm always looking for new chances to get out in the community and film a story. I also love to try new alcoholic drinks and go to events and shows whether the be on or off the beaten path.

Lastly I'm working on losing weight so I can click the "athletic" button. It's coming along, too!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Disarming people. When I first meet someone I love to say something that catches them off balance for a second. I'll make you drop your guard. People put up walls (even innocent small friendly ones) that are great to break past. It makes getting along with them so much easier once that is out of the way.

Cooking. I love to do it. I'd be glad to broil, sautee, deglaze, and sear my way into your... nvm. Just let me have some fun in the kitchen!

Saying inappropriate things. You better like that because the more I know you the more R-rated boundary pushing stuff I will say. Don't worry. I know when to engage my filter.

Bringing out the bad side in others. As in being that little devil on your shoulder. Its too much fun not to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually the person standing next to me. The camera on my shoulder.

I'm kiddin'. My smile. I have a big one! Sometimes I get complements on my eyes. I'm a sucker for that haha!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music is hard to categorize. Most people see my listing and say "you are all over the place". It's true. My phone has something for everyone but everything for me. 80's, 90's, opera, easy listening, trance, rap, rock, country, pop, hip-hop, classical, etc. My guilty pleasure is Ludovico Einaudi... don't ask.

I don't get to watch much TV now but I do catch The Daily Show, Archer, Newsroom, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and I'll admit I was watching True Blood from season 1.

Ask me in person about movies. I'm in that industry so by and far there are TOO many. It depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Food is kinda hard. Let's say my next goal is to teach myself sushi. Other than that I enjoy lots of stuff. Italian is my favorite by and far but the endless possibilities. I like stuff made at home more than a restaurant, though. Nothing against going out but DIY food is more fun from front to back. Especially sharing it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laughter and smiling - I feel that the humor is absolutely vital to my day to day survival and how I get along with people and how I express myself more than anything.

My car - I love being able to put the top down on my car summer evening and go for a ride at sunset.

Music - I feel that music is the narration we provide to our lives. Depending on what I'm listening to can completely change my mood and outlook.

My camera - Heck any camera. Just get me behind one. Tools of the trade.

My Kitchen - I love cooking and experimenting. Whether its fancy dinner or a simple breakfast. And I keep stocking it with new stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the next step in life is.
Who the next person to meet is.
When the next adventure begins.
Where the day will lead me to.
How to accomplish all my goals in life.

If I'm bored than I'm usually lost in thought about the next story I wanna write.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If there is filming to be done I'm filming.

Otherwise anything social. Usually with alcohol. Possibly outside. Maybe with live music.

But hopefully with a fun date!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is a small stuffed great white shark on the dashboard of my car. He brings me luck when i drive... its odd but it works!

I am a sucker for really lame jokes... that stays private for all of 5 minutes when we meet and then it comes out.

I own a kilt and can play the bagpipes. Yup.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You actually want to meet me. I can only do so much messaging before I have to meet someone in person. That is why I'm on here!

You can actually have a conversation with me! I appreciate the back and forth. I like to ask questions so feel free to ask them back.

You like the idea of drunken summer sunsets on a beach, a visit to a cider mill in the fall, Calvin and Hobbes style snowmen in the winter, and the crisp spring air promising a warmer day... and a happy excuse to drink!

Finally I am VERY interested in meeting people for film projects. Music videos/a chance to expose yourself and your talents/corporate shoots/non-profits. I like making films and have access to way too much gear. I welcome artistic types into theater/photography/painting, etc.
