My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! My name is Tyler. I'm from the Philly area though I do travel to other places for work from time to time.

I'm going on to the next phase of my life having left th 9 to 5 world. This means more time for my own projects and relationships as well as building and leading the life I want to live (as opposed to my boss'). I work in film and video production. Lucky for me my hobby is my passion and my job. I love filming the human face. I just happen to think it is the most difficult and rewarding thing to get right.

Personality wise, I'm a nerd/goofball rolled into one. But by no means am I timid. I tend to be assertive professionally but laid back in in the after hours. Also if I'm comfortable around you and I can tend to be quite boisterous. I believe with all my soul that the journey is far more important than the destination.

I'm not very judgmental and very easy to get along with. You seriously have to be trying to not get along with me. Though I am a bit of a bad boy and am slightly indulgent. I'm always up for a good time or go somewhere new that I haven't been before.

Ill apologize on the behalf of all men on this website for how they treat women sometimes or all of the time. I don't see how they would get away with it in person so I don't see why they would do that on here.

Also, I do have selfies of myself. I know lots of women don't want this but I do because most people really don't take pictures of me I like. I do it professionally so I am particular. Also, it's like the old tale of the cobbler who had the bad shoes. Why? Because he was always making shoes for other people. So even though I take pictures and video, I'm always doing it of other people and not myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently left the 9 to 5 world. I'm now a full time (hah) freelancer in the video production world and A/V world. I have my own higher end cameras and shoot on them for my own projects and other people's. Reality TV, commercials, movies, conferences, etc. I'm working on building a good name for myself in the Philly area.

In my free time I'm always looking for new chances to get out in the community and find a new project. If you genuinely have an idea or project feel free to hit me up!

I like to be outdoors more than in usually. I love to get out of the bustle of the city as well. I'd like to just do a tour of New England staying at B&B's for a week.

I also like working out at the gym. Fitness and good eating are taking a bigger importance in my life. But damn I do love wings and beer!!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Disarming people. When I first meet someone I love to say something that catches them off balance for a second. I'll make you drop your guard. People put up walls (even innocent small friendly ones) that are great to break past. It makes getting along with them so much easier once that is out of the way.

Cooking. I love to do it. I'd be glad to broil, sautee, deglaze, and sear my way into your... nvm. Just let me have some fun in the kitchen!

Saying inappropriate things. You better like that because the more I know you the more R-rated boundary pushing stuff I will say. Don't worry. I know when to engage my filter.

I love to go hiking. Usually 10 mile or more day hikes to get away from everything. If also like to add in camping and kayaking this year too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually the person standing next to me or the camera on my shoulder.

I'm kiddin'. My smile. I have a big one! Sometimes I get complements on my eyes. I'm a sucker for that haha!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music is hard to categorize. Most people see my listing and say "you are all over the place". It's true. My phone has something for everyone but everything for me. 80's, 90's, opera, easy listening, trance, rap, rock, country, pop, hip-hop, classical, etc. My guilty pleasure is Ludovico Einaudi... don't ask.

I don't get to watch much TV now but I do catch The Daily Show, Archer, Newsroom, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, the first season of True Detective was phenomenal. Not so the second one sadly. Any reality shows I have worked on (for the memories haha) reruns of Star Trek or the X-Files.

Ask me in person about movies. I'm in that industry so by and far there are TOO many. It depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Food is kinda hard. Let's say my next goal is to teach myself sushi. Other than that I enjoy lots of stuff. Italian is my favorite by and far but the endless possibilities. I like stuff made at home more than a restaurant, though. Nothing against going out but DIY food is more fun from front to back. Especially sharing it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My car - Not just for work purposes! It gets me out of the city when I want. It gets me to hiking places. Gets me to my friends outside of the city. It gets me to people who don't have cars

Public Trans. - If I dont have to drive... I don't wanna!

Music - I feel that music is the narration we provide to our lives. Depending on what I'm listening to can completely change my mood and outlook.

My camera - Heck any camera. Just get me behind one. Tools of the trade.

Quality cooking tools - I like cooking. Nothing beats having the right tool for the job.

Good shoes - Having gore-tex grippy shoes for hiking for dry feet. Breathable running shoes. Nice dress shoes. Comfy walking shoes. Having good shoes for the situation is the best. Nothing ruins your worse than having the wrong shoes on.

Ok those were practical. Here are the indulgent ones:
Craft beer
A comfy-ass bed
Sex (listed twice because who doesn't want to have 2x the sex??)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the next gig or project will be.
When I can produce my own content.
Why do avocados and mangoes cost so much when I love them so much.
Why the bird outside my window WONT STOP CHIRPING AT 6Am?!?!
Where can I go hiking this week.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If Im on a job Im on a job.

Otherwise anything social. Usually with alcohol. Possibly outside. Maybe with live music.

But hopefully with a fun date!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is a small stuffed great white shark on the dashboard of my car. He brings me luck when i drive... its odd but it works!

I am a sucker for really lame jokes... that stays private for all of 5 minutes when we meet and then it comes out.

I own a kilt and can play the bagpipes. Yup.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You actually want to meet me and have back and forth conversations. I can only do so much talking without input and messaging before I have to meet someone in person. That is why I'm on here! Remember, you need to give me a decent response so we can talk about something!

Its soon fall so jf you want to go hiking/camping/kayaking/boating with me and my friends. Cider season. I'm not a fantasy sports person but I will cheer for the Eagles/Penn State!

Finally I am VERY interested in meeting people for film projects. Music videos/a chance to expose yourself and your talents/corporate shoots/non-profits. I like making films and have access to way too much gear. I welcome artistic types into theater/photography/painting, etc. for collaboration!
