My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm very independent and smart, a bit nerdy but with a wide range of interests. Some favorite topics include politics, science, travel and video games.

I love cities and diverse places where there is a lot to experience. I'm need my space day-to-day but can be very social in the right situation. I am a loyal friend who's always up for planning an adventure.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Reassessing my career. I hope maybe I can get back to the West Coast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, math, learning new things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My red hair, my intelligence, my wit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite authors: Terry Pratchett, Ursula Leguin, Timothy Zahn, Carl Sagan, Mark Twain and Charles Dickens.

Favorite movies: anything by Mel Brooks or Woody Allen, and documentaries. I love making fun of awful horror movies, and am a huge fan of camp. (MST3K FTW!)

TV: West Wing, Parks and Recreation, Cosmos, Ghost in the Shell and Nova. Still trying out Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire but so far I like them.

Music: Pretty eclectic tastes. Don't care much for most country or rap (with exceptions), love classic rock, modern rock, and fusions like Dave Mathews Band. Also have a strange affliction for soundtracks, video game music and Japanese pop/rock. Don't come near me with Death Cab For Cutie, though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A computer, the internet, books, the city of Seattle, vacations, and a good cup of tea.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where do I want to go next?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home with my dogs, out to dinner, or on a plane to exotic places. Variety is the spice of life!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My health isn't a good I'd like...but I try really hard to get past that.
