Judo player hoping to go to the Olympics in 2016 (Almost made it in
2012, so this time I am feeling pretty confident. Used to live in
Illinois, moved to Upstate New York because this is where the best
place to train is (Who would have thought right?)
I joke around, I am sarcastic, and playful. When it comes time to
do work though I keep myself pretty focused, and my priorities in
I like to enjoy my life and get ridiculous when doing so, I’ll
often make those around me (including strangers) smile or laugh,
and I’m not above embarrassing myself.
There’s not a lot I legitimately hate when it comes to people other
than two things. Being afraid to try new things, and having a
closed mind. The world is here to be experienced and way too many
shy away from it. So what if you don’t like it? The story is in
what you’ve done, not what you’ve looked at, and decided it isn’t
worth the trouble.
What I’m doing with my life
Training to be in the olympics, having fun with my friends and
going out every now and then to enjoy myself. 99% of the time my
existence consists of being sore in at least three parts of my
body. My hands always hurt =/
I’m really good at
Judo, games (I'm a decent tactician and figure out the ways to
win), saying what I think, cooking, massages (strong hands :))
Putting the lime in the coconut.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not exactly sure anymore.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book: Enders game, World War Z
Movie: Sin City, Kill Bill, Mr. Brooks, Lord of the Rings, Zombie Land, True Romance (my fav), Princess Mononoke, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs
Shows: The walking Dead(not really anymore... last season was meh, first two rocked), Dexter, Game of Thrones, How I met your mother BREAKING BAD(besssst) Rick and Morty
This list is so contrived I don't even bother leaving a list anymore.
Edit: I guess I can throw in a 'currently listening to' bit here every now and then? Parov Stellar, Florence and the Machine, 30 seconds to mars, mostly alternative.
Food: Sushi, Steak (Any kind of well cooked meat really...)
The six things I could never do without
Computer, internet, somewhere to work out, close friends, food, and food. How good my day is going literally hangs in the balance based on if I'm eating delicious things or not.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Personal growth and how I can make myself a better person, improve
myself... starting to kick ass at that now.
The zombie apocalypse, what I wish I had on hand, where I am at the
moment, and how the military might not make it in time before I
have to end up doing something drastic.
People and their intention with the things they say and do.
And like everyone 'the future'
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, chilling on my computer... hasn't been a decent movie to go out to see in theaters in a long time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There is a wiki article on me and I have no idea who made it.
You should message me if
If you can honestly be yourself. I can't stand people who will fit
their face for the situation just to get along with everyone. Being
laid back, have a sense of humor, and aren't above being silly
every now and then.
A little craziness every now and then seems to be something I guess
I'm into? Seems to be the reoccurring theme in my life lol...
