My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Darcy and I am an aspiring Storyboard illustrator at RISD.
I am a bit of a dweeb, with an unhealthy addiction to the internet and a love of all things movies and comics. I love coffee and long walks on the beach yadayada. I have a tendency to become overly attached to fictional characters, and would be content to lie some place cozy and watch cartoons all day.
I love traveling and experiencing new things, though I am kind of bad at seeking them out.
Food. I love food.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, right now, I am working hard in order to "be the best. the best there ever was."
Really though, the competition at my school is insane, and I really want to work in my field.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told I am a good listener, and I'm funny? I don't know. I can draw, and I remember things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Also apparently my eyes are weird. ( Someone told me this summer I have sharp jewish eyes....whatever the hell that means).

TV Shows: Doctor who , Firefly, Justice League Unlimited, BTVS, ATS, SGA, Sherlock, Supernatural, The Middleman, Xena, Star Trek, Elementary, Person of Interest, breaking bad, IT Crowd, Sleepy Hollow, Hanibal.
I am constantly being exposed to new shows.
Movies: Silence of the Lambs, Young Frankenstein, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Princess Bride, rocky horror picture show, Mulan,
I love a lot of movies. I also am a big fan of talking about movies. Hunchback of Notre Dame will forever be my favorite.

Books: I use to read all the time, but life has kind of gotten in the way. I am listening to audio books when I work now, which is better then nothing.
Brave New World, The Dresden Files, The mixed-up files of mrs. basil e. frankweiler, Good Omens.

Comics: I've read a lot of Teen Titans and Batman. I am knowledgeable about Marvel, but I haven't read much of it yet.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I can go without internet. I have learned this summer.
1. Coffee
2. Sketchbook
3. Movies
4. Company. When left to my own devices for too long, bad things happen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Update: I think about my future. A lot. It's a problem.

All sorts of things. Nowadays, I have these story ideas that I bounce around in my head that evolve and contort.
I also think about random things. Like The universe, and what would happen if the walls between realities collapsed and I suddenly found myself in the world of DC, or in a reality without shrimp. What Would happen to me? What would happen to my friends? These sort of things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't work on friday nights. So I am probably, drinking wine, and watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know what I am doing, most of the time.

I'm looking for someone I can talk about movies with. Who I can freak out with at 3 in the morning because some character did something absolutely heart stoping, and I need comfort. Someone who I can debate with.
