I've led an interesting life! I left the place where I grew up, I've travelled with both work and leisure, and made many friends along the way all over the world.

I like a bit of intellectual banter as well as talking utter nonsense, I can be spontaneously witty, though not so good when I have to think about it, like err now!

I'm pretty conscientious too e.g. I will not spend a pound of my money in MacDonalds. Not just because the food is crap but also because I don't want to give any more power or wealth to such a greedy, environmentally damaging, corrupt organisation. I don't care how convenient it is. My job gives me hope for the future; that we can all own and run our lives in a small and local way.

Trying my best to be better

Stuff I do; play tennis, the guitar, walk my dog in the lochs and hills, run a film club, write for the local drama club (sometimes act), think grand thoughts, listen to podcasts, spend time with my two wee girls who I see every other weekend.

Rationalising

Tall. Nice, people always say I'm a nice guy for some reason

Books: Girl on a swing, Watership Down by Richard Adams; Anything by Douglas Adams (that's the A's done). Shantaram, Just read the Dune novels, they're great! Classics, I'll read anything that is recommended to me

Films: Withnail & I, Local Hero, American Beauty, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Dead Poet's Society, 2001, Inception, And so on...

Music; Ryan Adams, Blur, Booker T & the MGs, Damien Rice, Beautiful South, lots of obscure stuff

Podcasts. Love listening to Podcasts, mostly comedy ones

Food; I eat so that I don't starve but try to do it heathily
