My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've had the song Danza Kuduro stuck in my head for months. Oi oi oi.

I am a driven individual, looking to make my way into the journalism world. I try to be as smart with my life as possible, but every once in awhile you just have to be a crazy or random person and have some fun.

I'm not in the best shape of my life, partially do to bad eating habits (working on it) and partially due to ankles that refuse to heal (because I don't give them time). Yeah, I'm working on it.

All childhood was me preparing to become an adult, so why can't I have some fun now?

In October of 2011, I received a Certificate of Completion from Madison Area Technical College for my work in the Journalism program. While I am continuing to work, study and learn, this was a good reminder that I am on the right path.

I'm absolutely terrible with my money. It's not that I spend it all on useless things... Well actually, that's usually what it means. Either that or I'm spending it on somebody else, because everyone could use a little kindness towards them, and it's a good way to be.

Besides, unemployment and homelessness are rampant throughout the United States and the world. What makes me better than anyone else? I give when I can, and always will.

What can I say, I'm a happiness spreading kind of guy.

I also buy books, lots and lots of books. I have many shelves of unread books that I'm working on getting to.

I've recently begun to get rid of these, since I had well over 200 books laying around, and there are so many other people out there that could enjoy these books. Since I was not, I passed on some of them.

I'm a hopeless romantic, always have been. I truly do believe in love, and I think I will find that one person someday. Until then, I'm content to study and work, and put all of my energy into that.

In relationships, I truly give my all to the other person. I hate arguing, and I love to give, so that's how I am in all my life.

I also don't like lying. Why do it? It's not nice, and I am.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently studying at Madison Area Technical College to receive the Social Media certificate, and than transfer somewhere else to continue my studies of Mass Communication and English Education.

It is quite possible that I will also work on a Math degree of some sort in the future. Though I am currently at a low level of Math, I love applying myself to its study and getting better at that.

In the past, I've worked three to four jobs at one time. However, I recently cut it back to one, to spend more time meditating, recovering from physical and mental exhaustion, and to become a more social person with my good friends.

My job right now is a part-time gig at the MATC's Downtown Campus Bookstore. I enjoy this job, as the people that work with me are nice and I have a chance to help people find their books and supplies for class. Making students lives a little easier, one book at a time.

I also get to spend a lot of time meeting various staff members, and learning a bit about what their lives are like and the struggles they face. Since I may oneday become a teacher, I suppose this information is invaluable.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being completely honest with how I feel, and not afraid to admit that emotions do exist, or express them for that matter.

Reading and giving feedback. As a editor at a student newspaper for the last year and a half, it's become 2nd nature for me to peer read. I also love reading just for fun, as books are amazing.

Writing stories, both for my newspaper and for myself, since it is what I enjoy.

Soccer is amazing, and I suppose I'm pretty good at it. I'm better at Ultimate Frisbee, which I've played for the last since my Sophomore year in High School (2005).

Listening is key in this world, and I will always be willing to listen.

Adapting to new situations, learning.

Being the reliable person my friends call when they need someone to listen, understand and give valuable feedback.

Giving random gifts, all the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You will probably notice that, wherever we are, I'm having a good time with good people. See, I surround myself with them, and have a life that I enjoy.

I'm not shy, and will talk to you about anything. You may hear me well before you see me, as my friends and I make a loud and self-proclaimed 'hilarious' team, but we can be serious when we need to be as well.

Physically, you will probably notice that I walk with confidence... Or that I am clearly balding. Darn you genetics!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Neil Gaiman has amazing books, and any of them are worth the read.
"The Noble Dead Saga" is an interesting twist to the very old Vampire idea. (Not at all like Twilight, for your information).
"A Song of Fire and Ice" is an amazing series of books, each one bringing you deeper and deeper into an intense storyline.
"The Enduring Flame" and "Hellgate: London" are both interesting series, each worth the money.
"Steelflower" is a great book.
"Crown of Stars" is another good series.

Some more recent, but good, films include.. "Captain America," "Thor" and "The Incredible Hulk" (see a pattern?)
Some oldies include "Braveheart," "We Were Soldiers," "The Notebook," "Serenity" and "Transformers"

Tv Shows
Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Enterprise (see a pattern?), How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Sons of Anarchy, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Supernatural, Gilmore Girls, Charmed.

I enjoy a variety of music, but do not get to indulge myself a lot anymore, now that I am a big boy and have to pay for most of it. Lame, I know.

Nonetheless, some of my favorite artists are: Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Ruoska, Dope, The Fray, Rick Astley, Psychostick, Stone Sour, The Lonely Island, Surrender the Dance Floor, Aqua, Lifehouse, and many more.

I am a big fan of the college essentials; Mac and Cheese, Ramen Noodles, frozen food (pizza & vegetables). However, on occasion, I will venture out and purchase other amazing meals, such as Spaghetti (or any other kind of noodle), Chinese Food (of all sorts), seafood, chicken (wings anyone?), steak (or most other meats) and soup (there is an amazing little restaurant on East Johnson that serves great soup).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Books, along with the ability and time to read.
2. God, and time to both study and explore my faith with others.
3. Star Trek on Netflix
4. Work, or at least something to work on.
5. News media outlets, such as
6. My amazing friends

7. Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future; it's what's important to me. I spend a lot of time doing a lot of things, so why not plan ahead and try and bring it all to a end goal?

How important grammar is.

My friends, because I do enjoy them so much.

How Social Media is changing the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably studying, if not working. If neither of the above, relaxing or spending time with friends.

On good Friday nights, I can be found watching random Star Trek (from Enterprise to Voyager, TNG and DS9) on Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still have my Digimon movie from when I was young. I even went so far as to buy it on Dvd, since I don't have a VHS player anymore.

It's legit.

I tend to... Well, it's too embarrassing to type. Here, watch this youtube video:

Yeah, it's a bad habit.

I also enjoy math, even though I am often told I'm bad at it.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you want to, you should. And then we can chat.

Also, if you have the time and willpower to teach me how to not suck at cooking, that would be absolutely fantastic.

If you are interested in getting to know me, allowing me to get to know you and then allowing things to go from there, then send me a message. There's no need to rush.
