I am introspective, devoted, and inquisitive.

My Self-Summary

I'm a middle-aged man, rather shy and a computer geek. I don't talk about myself particularly well. "So tell me about yourself" is a pretty lousy opening to give me. Give me somewhat more specific questions... I have no idea what about me anyone would find interesting. I'm just this guy, you know? How's that for selling myself? Heh.

Mostly looking for friends. What happens, happens.

What I’m doing with my life

Just kind of coasting at the moment. Working on improving my work situation. Hopefully go back to school at some point.

I’m really good at

Hm. Computer-related things. Dry humor. I've been told I'm not a bad cook, but I don't cook very often.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I favor sf & fantasy, dabble in classics - Homer, Shakespeare, etc.; The Golden Compass, anything by Stephen Brust;

Movies: The Princess Bride, The Fifth Element, anything by Kurosawa;

Music: I have a weakness for Nordic Roots, but I like almost anything, even booty music;

Food: Mexican, Chinese, Japanese. Also love salads, bread, cheese, fresh fruit. One thing I really miss about California is the produce aisle.

The six things I could never do without

Family, friends, music, my computer, (blank), (blank).

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What's up with my life.

On a typical Friday night I am

Home listening to music, fiddling with whatever catches my eye in the house.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can't drive a stick.

You should message me if

...I haven't scared you off yet; if a loyal but geeky friend, with an extremely odd sense of humor, is something you could enjoy.
