Saturday: Helped friends bottle 2,700 bottles of wine
Sunday: Hiked to the top of Cerro Alto and then had dinner around a bonfire
Monday: Went to Bakersfield to do market research for work - took the scenic and fun route (58)
Tuesday: Tallied 13 miles on my bike and walking for work and errands
Wednesday: Concert road trip - kids and I headed north in the afternoon, stopped at one of our favorite little sushi places in Half Moon Bay and then enjoyed one of the two sold-out TOOL shows in SF
Thursday: Walked down to Farmers' Market after work to do a little wine tasting, grab some tasty BBQ and stock up on fresh fruit and veggies
Friday: The day is still young...what would you like to do?
I just arrived on the beautiful Central Coast from Florida last year and am enjoying the SLO life - a refreshing and positive change for sure! While both my kids (that I raised mostly on my own since they were 3 and 1) are now adults, I am not quite an empty nester, because they moved out here with me. But they have their own lives now, so I'm ready to begin my next chapter!
Here is a little more about me and what I'm looking for: Stable, smart, silly, shy, successful, spontaneous, sarcastic, sincere, spirited, skillful, strong, sweet, sexy, smiling, sunny single seeks same for my partner in crime. (Hey, I came to the US from Germany when I was 7 and learned English by watching Sesame Street - the above has been brought to you by the letter S!)
Love this Seinfeld quote "Most people go through life thinking they are sitting next to an empty chair and they are constantly trying to fill it. Not me. If I meet someone that I like that much that I want to sit next to for the rest for my life I can always pull another chair up beside me."
I'm not really looking for my next dependent - I much prefer an independent! Someone who can be a further enhancement to my already great life (and vice versa), as in a great addition, not a subtraction. Bring something to the table (along with some goals and plans for the future) and together, we'll feast like kings and queens - but if it is all take and no give, I'm not at all interested in starving like paupers (but I do also enjoy life's simple pleasures so very much - it's mostly more about the experiences than things at this point)
