I'm a strong believer that experience defines the person you become, especially if you're smart enough to learn from it. I've travelled widely and loved every minute of it, with every mile travelled have felt an expansion of my personal horizons. I've experienced the lows, had to battle hard and long and fiercely, but have experienced triumph also. Perhaps foolishly I've always been determined to go my own way, and the journey has been memorable.
I'm a different man to what I was 10 years ago, but the basic attributes remain. I'm smart, sometimes too much for my own good. I have a history of independence, and perhaps stubbornness. I'm decent and compassionate I think, but can also be hard and ruthless. An ex once called me a warrior, which confused me at the time, but makes more sense now. I'm determined, defiant, resilient and passionate. I believe in things strongly.
I'm not for everyone. I have a searching, restless spirit. I love to read and learn, love the good things in life - food, wine, the odd carouse - and am a champion at indulging them; but I can't sit still and watch the world go by. I'm not a passive person, I'm not demure in any way, and I'm a long way from being a safe bet.
I was once voted the best catch by the women at my workplace of the time. You shouldn't believe that now.
