My self-summary
I moved up to Albuquerque to study opera at UNM. Opera, lol right? I seem to be the only person in the department that has any kind of nerdy/geeky streak. Actually, being a veteran of ComicCon it would be more accurate to say I'm more of a nerd with a singing streak.
As a personal rule, I never let myself dwell on the negative. This doesn't mean I'm a super, crazily happy, disneyland employee-ish type of person, but I figure that there's so much to be thankful/happy about, why should I waste my time pouting. Plus, pouting leads to crying. Crying leads to headaches. Headaches lead to suffering. It's a vicious cycle. (I hope you get that reference)
I'm a very chill, easy to get along with type person.
I like how cupcakes look but have never been a fan of how they taste.
I have a scar on my hand from chair jousting. I won.
Colorful things make me happy.
I relish in my inner commentary. It makes me lol.
I love my friends and laughing until my sides hurt.
My character's a druid shifter. :D
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment, I'm studying opera at UNM. I'm enjoying my college experience to the fullest. I'm trying to develop my people skills as well as trying to learn German and Italian. I'm slowly working myself into steampunk fashion. (I'm modding a nerf gun at the moment.) Sometimes I help out at a local theater as a sound tech. I'm just a magical cornucopia of beings and doings. :D
(And as for "Offspring"-> I don't want them anytime soon, maybe in a decade.)
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
The fact that laser beams come out of my eyes!
Haha, I don't know what people notice first, but I'm sure the laser beams are high on the list.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: I was one of the lucky souls to catch the Rammstein tour that just past. Absolutely amazing!!!! There were exploding laser babies. Also, I was recently baptized by Andy LaPlegua :P
Other than them, I'd say I'm a fan of...Devin Townsend, Dr. Steel, Puccini, Rob Zombie, Anne Summers, Skrillex, Cyberoptics, Tom Waits, Soulhat, And One, VNV Nation, Combichrist (beastly performers!!!), iVardensphere, Tally Hall, Streetlight Manifesto, Chingon, Counting Crows, Daft Punk, Regina Spektor, Apocalyptica, Ben Folds, Mumford and Sons, Blitzen Trapper, and Gogol Bordello.

Books: Life of Pi, Red Dragon, House of Leaves, Shakespeare, Hellboy, Cat's Cradle, Fight Club, George Orwell, Watchmen, Sandman, Good Omens, American Gods, The Hobbit, Robinson Crusoe, Dandelion Wine, Brave New World, The Advetures of Dr McNinja, the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Collection (I haven't read them, but knowing that they exist makes me happy) and Harry Potter
...and, for the love of God, NOT Twilight, lol

Movies: Hellboy, The Thing, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Oldboy, Rare Exports, In the Mouth of Madness, Departures, Dark City, Amelie, Shaun of the Dead, The Fifth Element, The Fall, What Dreams May Come, Master and Commander, In Bruges, The Fountain, Pan's Labyrinth, The Signal, Hard Candy, The Big Lebowski, Memento, Serenity, Troll 2(horrible but hilarious), ThanksKilling, Wizard People Dear Readers, Hudson Hawk, My Name is Bruce, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Repo: The Genetic Opera, The Life Aquatic, SLC Punk!, How to Train Your Dragon, To Wong Foo, Happiness of the Katakuris, Inception, Fern Gully, Rocky Horror, The Incredible Voyage of Captain Hook, Ever After, Galaxy Quest, Jurassic Park, Dark Crystal, Leon the Professional, and Noroi

Food: Frankly, anything but sea urchin. It can scuttle back to the hell from whence it came.
Gummi Octopi are pretty amazing.
The six things I could never do without
A sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The most random crap. And future world travels.
Also, does Cyclops from X-Men have to wear goggles when he sleeps?
On a typical Friday night I am
Living! Haha, there's no such thing as typical! I could be watching ridiculous movies with friends (ex. "Robogeisha," the movie with the most "wtf?!" moments), helping out at a local theater, or passed out asleep. What I'm doing really depends on the weekend. Friends and shenanigans are usually involved.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
*glances around*
I've never had a boyfriend.
