I'm nerdy but sociable, talkative but introverted sometimes, active but not a gym rat and given to long-winded sentences with lots of "buts" on online profiles.

I try to be sarcastic and cuddly at the same time, so when I make fun of you it really just means I want some love.

I've also ridden on a yak in Tibet, that must count for something.

Enjoying it as much as possible! And the boring stuff like grad school, career, etc. Trying new food every week, laughing and having as much fun as I can.

Learning new things for the sake of learning, speaking foreign languages, cracking jokes, geeking it out. I'm also great at cuddling. It's a real talent.

My tendency to listen to ridiculous, cheesy foreign pop/dance music and dance to it pretty much all the time. I suppose I have a nice smile too.

Pretty much any history or language book, Game of Thrones, World without end, Harry Potter (just started reading it...I know...), Century Trilogy by Ken Follett, Say You're One of Them (not because it was on Oprah) and many many more. I love to read.

I like world music most but there isn't really any type of music I don't like except hipster/indie stuff. Current favorites: a couple of Bollywood songs, Marc Cohn, El Cerrito Place (Chesney or Robison version), Muse, Lowkey, classic blues like Howlin Wolf, many more.

I don't watch much TV other than sports (all Boston teams), stand up comedy and HBO shows. Just not my thing.

I love food and I'll eat basically anything; my favorites are American, Middle Eastern, Chinese and sushi. I just tried Nigerian food and loved it. Since I lived in China I'm really picky about Chinese food. My dad grew up in Kentucky so I have soft spot for southern comfort food too.
