My self-summary
I am a 28 year old filmmaker, writer, and lyricist, often on the quiet side, looking to find a special someone.

I'm a huggy kind of person, and I'm looking for someone I can just talk to openly and share, without feeling I have to put on a facade. I like to be romantic and chivalrous as all men should, but the whole language of flirting and subtleties and not saying what you really mean just completely goes over my brain's abilities. I'm tired of artificial talk at a noisy bar; I'm looking for a person to have a connection with, who I can offer emotional support to, and who doesn't expect me to bullshit them.

I think storytelling's the greatest way to have a connection with anyone. I'm a filmmaker and while that's something that is fulfilling in the long-run, the process can be so alienating and suck the life out of one. It would be great to find someone who shares that passion for storytelling and can provide companionship and be part of that adventure.
What I’m doing with my life
Making movies!

I unabashedly cite my love of Disney animation as a main influence in becoming a storyteller, and as a result my work often has a fairy-tale narrative or heightened presentation. Inspired in part by my admiration for playwright and Disney legend Howard Ashman, I then got into songwriting, writing the titular theme song for Q TO THE 6 TRAIN. HAVANA IN BUSHWICK features two of my original songs.

I'm looking for new ways to make the most out of this life and thus going to to new events, meeting people, discovering things I didn't know existed. And in NYC, there's always something going on!
I’m really good at
Random movie trivia! Seriously, I can name every single Best Picture winner from 1940 to the present!

The six things I could never do without
whatever my new favorite song of the week is.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Nerdy things. Such as:
-Lately Tolstoy has been on my mind a lot, as well as Dostevsky.
-Why 24 fps is the ideal frame rate for a movie and these new TV's that mess with that are evil abominations.
-How wrong the Oscars were on any given year.
-How some obscure Stephen King novel I read 10 years ago should have been written a different way.
-Why Babylon 5 had better writing than Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, but weaker production value.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm attracted to nerdiness in girls.
