My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmm, I'm really bad about taking pictures, so I have virtually none. I'm not very concerned about the past. It's worth planning for the future (especially vacations), but there's no real point in worrying about it.

I like new experiences and social board games. Well, social board games with the right people, not the overly competitive guy that freaks out when he loses.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Design engineer by day, intrepid dragon slayer by night.

I also like to lift weights, which leads to entirely too much time looking at other men.

I want to travel overseas and get myself some snazzy suits. Also travel more in general.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Identifying fake smiles. I can see through the lies! They're easier to find in pictures. It's all in the eyes.

-Understanding other viewpoints. I don't know everything, and if someone has a different opinion than me, I'm willing to hear them out instead of just labeling them as "stupid."
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
During conversations, I start thinking about what other people are saying without wondering out loud. Then I finally say something and people call me "random."

I can also get overly excited when I first meet people, so I've been told that I can come off as overwhelming.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I absolutely adore The Foundation trilogy by Isaac Asimov. The wonderfully human characters with wonderfully human developments and mistakes and flaws. I couldn't put this book down. The plot leaves you constantly needing to know what happens next! I was staying up late and sneaking in breaks at work reading the trilogy until I was done

There are so many comics I enjoy, but I'm currently really digging Rat Queens. I'm a big fan of Fantasy, and Rat Queens is a straight Dungeons and Dragon romp with a refreshingly modern all-female cast.

Squirrel Girl is about a girl with all the powers of both a squirrel and a girl! It's a fun comic that showcases both punching and non-punching solutions.

I'm loving these recent Marvel movies! Captain America 2 was amazing. Captain America was just as he should be,

IT Crowd
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Green Lantern The Animated Series

Supercell / Ryo
Taylor Swift

Favorite songs are either George Lam's rendition of
"The General's Order"

or Supercell and Nagi's "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari"

I like all food, but Chinese is my comfort food. I cook pretty simple when I'm at home. Usually just baked or poached chicken with some steamed vegetables.

I'm a big fan of Munchkin and Dungeons and Dragons. Social games are fun. I'm terrible at Settlers of Catan =/
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Tasty food. On bad days, thinking about getting to eat breakfast is what gets me out of bed, and thinking about getting to eat dinner is what gets me through the day.

-Evernote/Post-it notes. These things are amazing! External memory

-Stories. Stories motivate and revitalize me when I'm mentally fatigued. I don't think I'd be as happy as I am if it weren't for the inspiration and hope that I've gained from reading and watching stories.

-Sunlight/Outdoors - I get super depressed and sluggish when it's dark for too long, but I have boundless energy on good days

-Sleep (more than just the basics, I really need 6-8 hours a night. A good night's sleep is important to me. Food and sleep are the foundations of a good day)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Dungeons and Dragons. I spend a lot of time thinking about how to surprise, fool and delight my friends that play with me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with a friend, usually just eating out or playing a game. Friday is kind of a catching up with people day. I tend to do more activities on Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't wear pants when I'm alone in my apartment.

I love stuffed animals! My favorite is my Giant Squishable® T-Rex (and his best bud Utahraptor)

Sometimes I check under my bed just to make sure nobody's hiding under there.
