What I’m doing with my life
I work as a design engineer during the weekdays. There's some number crunching, but it's a surprisingly social job. I'm leaving my work at work to focus on my personal life.

I'm eating healthier and exercising more, and I want to get back into reading. I like relaxing at home, but it isn't the place I want to meet new people.

I spend a lot of time with my pals... so I hope you like them? I like to play board games and card games with them. Board games are the new trend, it seems.
I’m really good at
-Identifying fake smiles. I can see through the lies! They're easier to find in pictures. It's all in the eyes.

-Understanding other viewpoints. I don't know everything, and if someone has a different opinion than me, I'm willing to hear them out instead of just labeling them as "stupid."
The first things people usually notice about me
During conversations, I start thinking about what other people are saying without wondering out loud. Then I finally say something and people call me "random."

I can also get overly excited when I first meet people, so I've been told that I can come off as overwhelming.

Food:
Spicy food!
Avocados are amazing. I put onions and garlic on everything. Almond butter, bananas, and steel cut oats has been my breakfast for almost two years, and I still love it.

Games:
I really wanted to play a JRPG lately, but I don't have a 3DS. I'm doing a little XCOM and a little Path of Exile. I also have a huge stack of Steam games collecting digital dust.
The six things I could never do without
-Tasty food. On bad days, thinking about getting to eat breakfast is what gets me out of bed, and thinking about getting to eat dinner is what gets me through the day. Not many bad days anymore though!

-Evernote/Post-it notes. These things are amazing! External memory

-Pals

-Stories. Stories motivate and revitalize me when I'm mentally fatigued. I don't think I'd be as happy as I am if it weren't for the inspiration and hope that I've gained from reading and watching stories.

-A great blanket

-Sleep (more than just the basics, I really need 6-8 hours a night. A good night's sleep is important to me. Food and sleep are the foundations of a good day)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about food. Planning my meals, nutrition content, tasty content, and when I need to eat to prevent me from getting hangry.
On a typical Friday night I am
Baking, lately. I'm big into baking all of a sudden. I think it's because being around happy people.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't wear pants when I'm alone in my apartment.

I love stuffed animals! My favorite is my Giant Squishable® T-Rex (and his best bud Utahraptor)

I watched Game of Thrones and didn't like it that much. It's too brutal for me, and I'm not really that drawn in by the story.
