My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have an absurdist sense of humor, a bad stomach, and a fondness for animals. I enjoy eating sausage and bacon more than i really should, even when they're made of Tofu. I am terribly shy around people i don't know.I spend most of my time surfing the interwebs, watching cartoons, and playing Video games. I'm very Liberal. In fact, I'm quite the socialist.

I want to be a Pirate when i grow up.

I am attempting to make my summary 20% cooler.

My adventures in the Gym are highly amusing to other people. I go there to try to remain healthy and maybe to look a bit better. So far I think i'm doing pretty OK.

I posses a Pirate suit. With this suit I am ready to Pirate at a moments notice. So if nothing else, and you need an emergency Pirate, feel free to contact me.

Camping! When did camping become fun? I mostly remember it from being a kid as this activity where we went outdoors and got eaten by insects and slept on the ground and woke up all sore and eaten by more insects. And then i went camping again with some friends and t was AWESOME! Will have to do this more often.

I have a wonderful puppy. She's a sweet and excitable little girl, and I am having a lot of fun with her.

Lately I've been getting into the Steampunk scene. Mostly because it gives me an opportunity to wear my top hat. the people are also really cool, though, and I've had a lot of fun at the local events. Particularly Dorians Parlor, which, if you live in Philadelphia and you like this stuff, you simply must attend.

Turns out I'm Diabetic now! Not the best news I've ever received, but i'm adjusting.

I am Nerdy, Shy, and Silly
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My full time job is data manipulation for a small but successful marketing firm. It's dull work but it pays the bills.

I used to work for a theatre. I really miss it there. Good Friends good fun and great shows. I'm considering going back as a volunteer, though.

I have a lifelong dream of being a science fiction or fantasy writer, but I always have trouble focusing, and getting the ideas on my head onto the page is surprisingly challenging. As my own worst critic I almost never share what I write.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video games, reading, walking, and computers.

Other than that I'm a follower of major political trends, and probably know a bit too much detail about TV shows I like.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear hats. Different types of hats depending on the weather. I am very fond of my hats, but sometimes I think other people may have different opinions of them. I really enjoy my Fedora and my Felt and Silk Top Hat!

I am completely adorable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
For books, Anything by Terry Pratchett, or Isaac Asimov. Neil Gaimen, a few others. I also enjoy history books, sci-fi, and the occasional cheap fantasy novel. I also read a lot of political books and books on Mythology and history, usually more modern history. American Vertigo by Bernard-Henri Levy is excellent by the way, everyone should read it. I've recently gotten into Ian Banks The Culture novels, and he is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors.

When it comes to music, I'm just not a big listener. I can appreciate good music, but I don't usually go out of my way for it, and I don't like concerts very much. Lately I've developed a minor interest in Electro-swing

On TV I like Parks and Recreation, Venture Bros, Firefly, Genshiken, It's always sunny in Philadelphia Reaper, Friendship is Magic, Archer, Community, Wilfred, Arrow, Doctor Who. I miss the old History Channel, back when it was about History and not pawn shops.

As for movies I also like a wide variety. The Indiana Jones movies, Hellboy, Serenity, Survive Stlye 5, Iron Man, Star Trek: First Contact, Wreck it Ralph, Godzilla(the original), Payback, The Grudge, Lock Stock and Two smoking Barrels, Snatch, The Iron Giant, Spirited Away, In Bruges, Oh brother, where art thou, etc. etc.

I like to try all sorts of foods, but I do have a fondness for sweets. Recently I discovered that I am diabetic, so this has placed a strain on my ability to try different foods.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Game Consoles, Computer, My Hats, The interwebs, Cat, and my friends. Those are probably in reverse order of importance.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Geek stuff. TV shows, movies, RPG's, that sort of things. I also think about the city I live in. The museums, the street art, the people. Science and technology fascinates me, so I read a lot of those websites as well as National Politics. I spend a lot of time plotting who should be president or in congress and how they should get there, and the role our government should play on an international stage. Pirates. Oh, and the next Terry Pratchett Book. Always thinking about that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at home watching TV, or hanging out in a bar with some friends.

Beer doesn't really interest me much, but once in a while I get in the mood for it.

Karaoke can be fun, although I am a terrible singer, that is the whole point isn't it?

I'd much rather spend the night at home watching a movie though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am incredibly shy. Unfortunately most people seem to think I'm blowing them off or being rude. It's not that I dislike meeting new people, but I just don't always know how to act.
