My self-summary
Im pretty laid back and easy going with a slight tendency to be incredibly nerdy. I'm incredibly loyal, my friends mean the world to me. I'm also really bad at describing myself, partly because it feels like a job interview (and maybe it kinda, sorta, is a psuedo-interview) and partly because I just suck at it.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm in the midst of trying to start a career, as opposed to just having a job, with the intent to start getting ready for "real life." My passion is music, I went to school for audio production and am actively involved within the industry through several self produced album releases with several different bands.
I’m really good at
Making the people around me happy. If they are smiling and feeling good then that means that I am smiling and feeling good. And that sounds like a fun time.
The first things people usually notice about me
Don't usually ask that question, maybe I should start?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,
Ender's Game,
The Hobbit (I think its a much better story than the LOTR trilogy)
Just finished reading a book called Your Brain on Music by Daniel Levitin (if you want to get a good insight on the neuroscience side of music then this is the book for you)
Other than that I generally read up intensely on things that interest me or manuals for new technology that I purchase all too often...

Movies/TV
Obligatory Star Wars listing
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Across the Universe
Band of Brothers/The Pacific
Anchorman/Step Brothers
Lion King
Tiny Toons/Animaniacs/Pinky and the Brain
Firefly/Serenity
The Simpsons (seasons 1-13)

Music
Too much to list. I own clothing from Thrice, Deftones, I Mother Earth, and Between the Buried and Me, so if that helps?
The six things I could never do without
Music
Headphones to make that music portable
My guitars (acoustic and my basses)
My close friends, without them I'd be ranting to noone
That's pretty much all I can think about right now other than the obvious necessaries such as food, water, and air..........oh guitar picks, cuz playing fingerstyle, although fun, can get tiresome after a while.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Incredibly random stuff that I tend to vocalize all to often. In any given situation I can pretty much guarantee I've run just about every simulation of every possible outcome to that situation, times like that I need an off switch. Most of the time though my thoughts resemble the paintings that you would do in kindergaden with marbles rolling around in paint....
On a typical Friday night I am
I might meet some friends for a few pints at a pub or I'm playing a show or cook some food, eat it, then spend the rest of the night relaxing on the couch with a movie or three
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have choked up a couple times to a couple of McDonald's commercials. The one with the hockey playing daughter and her dad always gets to me.
