Equal parts curiosity, goofiness (in a good way) and charm (well I think so anyway), I am a man on a journey. That journey is a mixture of connecting with good bits of the past, discarding the irrelevant parts of the present, and eagerly discovering new interests hitherto unknown (word of the day).
I have the kind of job which provides me with the opportunity to travel a few times per year, the wherewithal to live and grow in a comfortable manner, and the time to discover and enjoy life...but my job is not my primary focus, after all I'm not saving lives. I have ambition, but it's to live a good life and grow as a human being
I am the kind of person who takes himself just seriously enough to know that while I am the bees knees, I am not all that and a bag of chips ;-).
I'm a music lover with no real rythym, and a reader who cant spell, an art lover who cant tell Jackson Pollack from Basquiat
I'm a technical person who can format your hard drive and dual boot your computer with linux and windows, I can install a custom rom or jailbreak your phone and configure a home media server so you have all your music when you want it, but I also realize you more than likely understand and/or dont care about any of that you just want it to work.
I'm a good cook and an omnivore who has an appreciation for the disovery of new tastes but who wont eat peas no matter what and can only have bussel sprouts the way my sister makes them
I am begining to appreciate the positive rather than worrying about the negative
I am at turns scatterbrained or razor sharp focused, but I will always do my best not to let down those I love especially when I give my word
in short I am what I am.

I am geetting back into cooking (got a new book on french cuisine and a grilling recipe book) but I'm more self taught than proffesionally trained
I'm jogging and loving it yet also looking forward to the winter because I think I want to learn how to cross country ski. I've got a rowing machine and I'm not afraid to use it.
I'm consuming media and information at a voracious rate.
I'm learning how to scuba dive this summer while trying to convince my friends to go skydiving again.
I am considering taking refresher courses to improve my written french (I'm told my spoken french is pretty good and my accent isnt so bad...for an anglo) as well as relearning sign language.
I am being a lot more selective about what I watch after all I only have so many brain cells left, but what I do watch I tend to follow quite closely (side note I dont stay home to watch television/movies because the internet is a wonderful thing so dont think of me as a couch potato).

I am seeing a lot more comedy and trying to find great places for live music.
I am trying to meet new people so if it doesnt work out bewtween us being friends is a definite possibilty
I am becoming comfortable with who/what I am, but looking forward to what I can/will be

Impossible to answer, as Friday night is a time of infinite possibilities. As I have come to loathe limiting routines, why would I want to apply one to my friday nights.
Watching a movie, going out with friends, hosting a dinner, seeing a show...heck even organizing a killer stamp collection while listening to vivaldis the four seasons with a Merlot...just...no...more...routine.
