My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am at a point in my life where I realize just how lucky I am and intend to make the most of it.
I know what doesn't work/what I don't want in my life and have committed myself to getting past that. I've got work to do, but hey who doesn't.
I also know what does work and intend to make the most of this great thing called life. No one can live life to the fullest every day or is a complete master of their own destiny but the important part is that you try. No one can have fun for you, or expand your horizons that you just have to do for yourself and that's what I am up to.

I get to travel for work and I am starting to like that again.

I am happy where I live, even though it could use some work and I love having people over, especially in the summer.

I love art and literature even though I am at best an amateur

I cannot live without music and my tastes run eclectic, but I tend to give pop, hip hop, and country a wide berth.

Movies and TV are things I am trying to be a little more choosey about. The majority of what's out there seems a little formulaic and I have too few brain cells and time left to waste.

I enjoy intense philosophical conversations, about topics both serious and frivolous, and like hearing view points contrary to mine as long as they have some thought behind them.

I love to cook and I like to try new foods and with the exception of peas, green/yellow beans, most Brussels sprout dishes, and veal I am an omivore and I hope you are too.

I love beer, and scotch but also have an appreciation for a good wine especially when paired with the right food.

I believe in approaching dating/getting to know people kind of like when you're trying a new food you never know how much fun you have until you try. One thing I have come to appreciate is low maintenance, I think have a definite allergy to drama. Please feel free to ignore me if you describe/think of yourself as a diva or if you start your profile off with a phrase like " if you are/are looking for xxxxxxx move on to the next proile " yes I realize that's kind of what I am doing with my own profile. But we're probably not going to make each other happy.

My ambition is to have a good life. My career is NOT the focus of my existence. If that answer doesn't appeal to you or your career is the center of your existence I don't think we're going to be on the same wavelength. I mean I am all for being devoted to a noble pursuit like science, saving lives, or solving world hunger but my career doesn't define me

Have fun, be safe, and good luck to us all.
