My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have great aspirations for a wonderful, beautiful, magical life and am not willing to compromise. There is so much to be done while we're alive and I want to share it with someone! It's been said before, but I believe in moderation in all things, including moderation. I love living a fast-paced life, making the most of every minute, whether that be at work, play, learning, or connecting with friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Helping build a young medical device company. Saving money & saving lives: the good stuff.

In the future I'd like to start another technology company, build a dream house, travel to unusual places like Tromsø Norway.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Modesty. Ask me.

This sounds like such a Sound of Music question. I don't actually have a thing for brown paper packages tied up with string, but really do like The Sound of Music (the only musical I like). Other than that, while we're on the musical subject, there's a time and place for almost everything. I love electronica/house, old school rap (like Mobb Deep, biggie, pharcyde et al) and some of the new stuff like Kanye, and love latin dance music - well, dance music in general. Beyond that, I do appreciate classical and opera (esp. Wagner!) and some of the angelic downers like Elliot Smith, Pixies and Nirvana. One thing I can say is that if you are ambivalent to music, things will not work on a deep level.

Favorite movies: Star Wars, American Psycho, Big Lebowski, Amelie.

As for food, I don't identify as a foodie, but am totally down to going out to try new restaurants and am actually not a bad cook.

I also read a lot - the wsj / economist, plus everything from biographies, fiction (my favorite author is Haruki Murakami - please message me if you just read his latest!), to technical/scientific literature on LEDs, computer programming. It's important to shift gears in your head often or Jack becomes a dull boy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Why six? I'm curious why six is the magic number here. I guess if they changed it, it would make the initial people who signed up look rather stupid.

Okay- things I could never do without in no particular order are: Good music, family, companionship, daily exercise, mental stimulation, worthwhile challenges, some level of risk-taking, biking, reading.

You? :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Technology, work, music, family, sports, random intellectual questions such as whether the rise of the internet has led to the radicalization of political thought, similar to the way radical views on slavery nearly tore the country apart in the 1860's. During that era, there were countless newspapers (similar to blogs nowadays) that voiced radical thoughts. Contrast that with the big three networks during the 1950's that kept public opinion in bounds...

I dunno - lots of random stuff like that. I love thinking and talking about stuff like that and would love to date someone who also enjoys dreaming, thinking, but most importantly - DOING something about it.
On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends or recovering from a tough week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I no longer see the romance (amour?) in being the knight in shining armor.
