My self-summary
If a geek is someone who feels really intense passion about a handful of things, then I suppose I'm a geek. Cooking, cartoons, video games, literature, sci-fi. I've got a real passion for all of it.

I have a serious passion about food that I can sort of express through my job. I love to cook and bake, and working alongside some great chefs lets me get all these new and wonderful ideas. Have a recipe you'd like to share? We can do a swap!

I've only been in Toronto a couple years and I'm already in love with this city. Still I'm still learning where all the good hangouts are. I'm open for suggestions on things to see in the city!
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm working in the food industry in the management side of things as a food service director. If you don't know what that is, think like a Restaurant Manager but with three times the actual work. Oh I am also starting to work out again as free food is both a boon and a bane in my industry.

When I'm not doing either of those I'm reading/sitting on transit/drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee.
I’m really good at
-Writing
-Video Games
-Cooking
-Dealing with people
-Sarcasm
-Pop culture
The first things people usually notice about me
I've got really blue eyes. Depending on what I wear they are either grey-blue or like, sapphire blue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Harry Potter (entire series), Lord of the Rings, Paradise Lost, King Solomon's Mine, Shakespeare's comedies, To kill a mocking bird, Frankenstein, Green Grass Running Water, the Dresden Files, and many more. I really love reading!

Movies: Kung Fu Hustle, Hellboy, The Avengers, Men In Black 1&3, Kill Bill Vol 1, Tremors, The Big Lebowski, Dogma, Serenity, The Incredibles, The Fifth Element, Ghostbusters!

Shows: Kitchen Nightmares, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Amazing Race, Any cooking show, Supernatural, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Young Justice (why did you have to go and get cancelled) . Steven universe, Star vs the forces of evil. Cartoons are awesome.

Music: Right now I'm listening to a lot of retro stuff. Like a lot of stuff from the 50s in France, England, and Canada right now. It's rather interesting. But Im open to anything.

Food: Anything. No, seriously. I'll eat anything twice. Once to actually say I've tried it. The second time to confirm if I liked it or not.

Video Games: Pokemon, Heroes of the Storm, Fallout, Undertale, Fallout, and League of Legends. I'm really excited for Overwatch. Oh did I mention I like Fallout? I hope I mentioned that.
The six things I could never do without
- A few moments of silence a day
- Good Literature
- My Nintendo DS
- Skeleton Puns
-Tea (God help us all if I don't get at least one cup of tea a day)
- A warm, home made meal
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food mostly. Food is a huge passion of mine ( also currently kind of my job). I've got food on the brain. I love to tinker with food and try to find great new tastes as well as places to eat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Bars and pubs are nice every once and awhile but nothing beats a good evening at home with a warm drink, a good book/movie/tv show/ video game, and people to share the evening with.

But if we're talking a night out I'd say Night at the ROM would be my ideal sort of event. Music, food, drinks, and museums. What could possibly go wrong?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know far more about the competitive metagame of Pokemon than should be allowed. I'm a bad person and run stupid stuff.
You should message me if
If you are looking for someone to share some delicious meals with, warm coffee [or tea], good beers, and a great conversation with.

My wheelhouse may be literature, food, and pop-culture but I'm more than happy to strike up a conversation on just about anything.

First coffee is on me :)
