My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If a geek is someone who feels really intense passion about a handful of things, then I suppose I'm a geek. Cooking, cartoons, video games, literature, sci-fi. I've got a real passion for all of it so I guess you could call me a geek.

I've recently moved to Toronto and I'm already in love with this city. I love to read and write, with fantasy literature being both my favourite to read as well as to write. I have a serious passion about food that I can express through my job. I love to cook and bake, and working alongside some great chefs lets me get all these new and wonderful ideas. I need people to test these ideas on!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm working in the food industry in the management side of things as a food service director. Think like a Restaurant Manager but with double the work. I'm also writing a bunch of short stories [see: fanfic of various sorts] and starting to work out again as free food is both a boon and a bane in my industry.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Video Games
-Pop culture
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've got really blue eyes. I once noticed a date wasn't making eye contact with me, so I asked what was wrong. She said my eyes were too blue and were making her uneasy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter (entire series), Lord of the Rings, Paradise Lost, King Solomon's Mine, Shakespeare's comedies, To kill a mocking bird, Frankenstein, the Dresden Files, and many more. I didn't study English Lit for nothing.

Movies: Kung Fu Hustle, Hellboy, The Avengers, Men In Black 1&3, Kill Bill Vol 1, Tremors, The Big Lebowski, Dogma, Serenity, The Incredibles, The Fifth Element, Ghostbusters!

Shows: Kitchen Nightmares, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Amazing Race, Any cooking show, Supernatural, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Young Justice (why did you have to go and get cancelled) . Cartoons are awesome.

Music: all over the place, a little bit of everything. Easier to say I DESPISE pop-country and Christian rock. I have a super soft spot for Classical.

Food: Anything. No, seriously. I'll eat anything twice. Once to actually say I've tried it. The second time to say I liked it.

Video Games: Pokemon (currently consuming my life. Ask me how I did as a Gym Leader :P ), Any Legend of Zelda game, League of Legends, and Fallout.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- A good stout
- My Laptop (It's basically my primary writing tool!)
- Good Literature
- My Nintendo DS
- Some Pens and Pencils.
-Tea (God help us all if I don't get at least one cup of tea a day)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Story ideas mostly. It takes a lot of effort to create stuff from nothing I've found and its far more interesting and relaxing to think about than everything else going on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Waist deep in video gaming goodness. Bars and pubs are nice every once and awhile but nothing beat a great video game and playing with friends.

But if we're talking a night out I'd say Night and the ROM would be my ideal sort of event. Music, food, drinks, and museums. What could possibly go wrong?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That would be probably I've read the entire Twilight series to impress a girl in high school. I freaking HATED it, but I read it. There, happy now?

I'm looking for someone to share some delicious meals with, warm coffee [or tea], good beers, and some fantastic geeky goodness. If you know what generation steel types were introduced, which actor played which doctor, or what fallout is I think we'd get along smashingly, possibly over some Smash Bros.

If you can guess my favourite pokemon type you'll instantly gain huge points with me.
