I am introverted, musically inclined, and bipedal.

My Self-Summary

I enjoy using inside jokes that make me look like a tool as my usernames on various social networking sites. I also enjoy endless blank fields where I can blather on about myself.

What I’m doing with my life

In limbo.

I’m really good at

Music. It may be arrogant to say so, but hey, I've played professionally and been paid very well for it. Unfortunately, I'm also good at offending people who sign my paychecks, so I fucked up the one good chance I had.

I'm also good with words. One of these days I'll focus on something long enough to actually finish writing it. I should probably start smaller, but hey, shoot for the fuckin' stars.

The first things people usually notice about me

I stand a head higher than most people. I'll meet someone taller than myself maybe once or twice a year. And I generally don't talk much upon first meeting someone. So I come off as a mute giant.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a) Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Neal Stephenson, Umberto Eco, Arthur C Clarke, CS Lewis, Ridley Pearson, John Crowley, Milton William Cooper, and on and on.

b) Dr. Strangelove is the greatest movie of all time fuck all you haters.

c) Tom Waits, kidneythieves, Portishead, Dog Fashion Disco / Polkadot Cadaver, Tori Amos, Sade, Slayer, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and on and on.

d) Um. Oh hell, anything without onions. Cannot do onions.

The six things I could never do without

1. My Tom Waits collection. Sadly incomplete.
2. High speed internet.
3. Blank pages and nice pens.
4. Jameson.
5. JJ Slovakian vacuum tubes.
6. New outlets for my creativity.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What to put in these neverending blank fields that will make people think I am witty, smart, or attractive.

On a typical Friday night I am

These days, staying home and doing laundry. Christ, I'm fucking lame.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I hide it well, but I am a nerd to the utmost extreme. I can discuss the lineage of important elves from the Lord of the Rings. =/ Hey, Tolkien went into some ridiculous detail about that shit.

You should message me if

You have rare Tom Waits albums or B-sides, or any other reason that springs to mind.
