My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live every week like it's Shark Week.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a think tank and have unlimited access to smart people and free cookies. I love it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Injuring myself while training for marathons, filling awkward silences with slightly less awkward conversation, befriending strangers and leaving umbrellas in bars.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not particularly shy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

BOOKS: Too many to possibly list, but most recently I got some strange looks on a plane because I couldn't stop laughing out loud like a crazy person while reading David Sedaris.

MOVIES: Wet Hot American Summer, The Graduate, the weird recommendations I get my from a Netflix account shared with 7 people, etc. etc.

SHOWS: Mad Men, Breaking Bad, 30 Rock, Arrested Development and all variations of House Hunters. (sorry I'm not sorry.)

MUSIC: Anything and everything I can see live, but at the moment I'm listening to a lot of Volcano Choir, St. Lucia, Small Black, Magic Man, Cut Copy, Miike Snow, Kurt Vile, Beach House, Tame Impala and Enrique Iglesias, my decade-long guilty pop pleasure.

FOOD: I eat everything, but am particularly obsessed with Thai food. I could eat at Thai X-ing every day of my life. (That pumpkin curry is life-changing.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

Access to the ocean
Friends within walking distance
Dunkin Donuts iced coffee
Running shoes
Feta cheese
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The fact that DC Yellow Cabs are actually orange. I am irrationally annoyed by this.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having that extra glass of wine/ beer/ G&T that I know I shouldn't or passing out at 9pm so that I can wake up early on Saturday morning and feel like a Real Adult.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once made a cameo appearance on a DC-based reality tv show. (And no, it was not that terrible season of the Real World.)

You don't judge someone who is no longer of college age for occasionally eating jumbo slice. (Guilty.)
