My Self-Summary
I'm a 25 year old living and working in Las Vegas. I moved here several years
ago from Virginia, to pursue a change of career and
education.
Prior to this change I studied Archaeology and Anthropology at UVa, and subsequently my political views are quite liberal. I am greatly interested in social programs, education reform, healthcare reform, and various other hippie, left-wing political ideals.
Since my move to Las Vegas these have somewhat taken a back seat to the pursuit of my career, to the exploration of the city (for good local eateries and bars), and spending time with friends.

What I’m doing with my life
I work time at a mid to up-scale restaurant in the Venetian. In
April, I will be taking the Sommelier exam, and hope to pursue that
as a career.
On my days off I enjoy bowling with my friends, watching baseball games, trying out restaurants, and relaxing at home.
Come April the restaurant will be hosting another company softball team, and that will fill up another couple nights a week.

I’m really good at
Probably cooking, although I don't do it at home as often as I
should.
I'm also a quite good softball outfielder and first baseman, but our company team can often get bogged down in small things like drinking.

I actually have no idea. Maybe that I'm tall, maybe that I'm shy.

Guests of the Sheik, Blindspot, the Harry Potter series, and Wines of the World.
My favorite movie:
Field of Dreams. Followed by the Shawshank Redemption, Sleepers, and Grosse Point Blanke.
My favorite music:
I don't listen to music very often. In my car I listen to NPR, but I enjoy most any music, from country to the oldies, to whatever.
My favorite foods:
I don't think I can pick just one. I love sampling new cuisines. Vietnamese and Italian are two of my favorites.

How I met Your Mother, The Office, The Mentalist, QI

1) Internet. This is my main source of news and information about
the world.
2) A Pen and Paper. I make a lot of notes to myself.
3) Wine. Sure, I drink mostly water at home, but the pleasure of drinking is experienced in wine.
4) A Kitchen. Although I don't have the time to cook at home that much, I enjoy it tremendously.
5) A Shower. Cleanliness is next to godliness.
6) Good friends. What use are good food and good wine if you have no one to share them with?

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend most of my time reading about news stories, politics, or
wine. My life is in a good place right now and I don't have too
much to worry about.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably working. The one downside to the restaurant industry is
terrible work schedules. Weekends, holidays, any time most people
would be going out, I'm working.
My days off are spent at home mostly, weekly poker nights with the guys, or company softball.

I love old animated Disney movies (Aladdin, The Lion King,
Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, etc.)
