Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Frank Herbert, Ian Watson , Terry Pratchett, Clive Barker. So yeah you get the idea. Lots of sci-fi, fantasy and general funny stuff. I also like a lot of artsy stuff and i guess what most people would consider dark and bizarre art like H.R. Gieger, Hajime Sorayama to name some. Also really like autobiographies.

Movies: A lot of 70s, 80s, 90s movies. Some favorites out of the many: Big Trouble In Little China, Leon, Snatch, Airplane, Groundhog day, Mad Max series, Amélie, Intouchables, Lost In Translation, Monty Python to name a few.

Stand up comedians: Eddie Izzard, Louis C.K., Eddie Murphy, Russel Peters

TV Shows: Scrubs, The Shield, Game of Thrones, Farscape, Futurama, Sherlock (UK), House of Cards, Big Bang Theory, True Detective, Coupling, IT Crowd, Family Guy, Community, Babylon 5, Drawn Together, Twin Peaks, That 70's Show, Ranma 1/2, etc

Music: 70s and 80s music. Rock, Metal, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Electronic, Industrial and basically any type of good live music. Some favorites including but not limited to: Daft Punk, Rammstein, RHCP, Pink, Queen, Jamiroquai etc

Food: Love hot and spicey foods with the exception of Indian food. Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Seafood in general and of course a well cooked steak will always be high on my list.

If 42 really is mathematically proven to be the meaning of life or if its just a calculation error and the right answer is actually Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream.

I also think a lot about weather or not you can actually make anti gravity with attaching a piece of buttered bread (buttered side up) to the back of a cat and then try to drop it.

And now to something completely different.... the larch
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

I don't actually have a cape to go with my hero outfit. There. I said it. Don't judge me.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I guess the reasons can be plenty so i'll just throw around a few ideas from the top of my head:

* You lost a dare or bet recently and this seems like as good an opportunity as any to get that off your list
* You have a dice lying around and throw a 1-5 (in case of a 6 you get another free throw! Yaaaay!)
* You want to start a debate stating that Cinnamon Buns are actually not THE best pastry snacks in the world. Good luck with that.
* Or just the good ol' fashioned reason to exchange random thoughts through the power of expertly aligned letters and punctuation's formed into what is referred to by top scientists as communication. :)
