I'm a well-read, smart, fit, and hilarious guy who is very comfortable in his own skin. I'm honest with myself and others. I'm very even tempered and patient.

I lean heavily to the left, and not just because I am left-handed. I'm passionate about gay rights and marriage equality, a woman's right to choose, gun control, and other social issues of the day. I pay close attention to news and current events because I think it's important to know what's going on in the world.

I've got a great sense of humor. As shown above, I can be silly at times but I am mostly dry and sarcastic. If you can appreciate wit and a great dry delivery, I'm your man.

I have lots of hobbies and interests but am always looking for something new to try. I love being outside (parks, festivals, and zoos are the best) and will be out and about as long as the sun is shining.

I exercise several times a week and I pay attention to what I eat. I'm not obsessive about it, but I make an effort to stay fit.

Bullet point time:

-I'm a no BS kinda guy. Ask a question, you'll get an honest (but never brutal) answer. If something needs talking about, then I'll bring it up.
-I have a lot of hobbies and interests (Anime, gaming, comics, gadgets/tech, reading, movies, aliens, RC Aircraft, etc).
-I have a positive attitude. I'm an eternal optimist and thankful for it.
-If you have a sense of humor, I will make you laugh. If you don't have a sense of humor, I'm very sorry.
- I'm a big kid in a lot of ways, but doesn't mean I lack wisdom or experience.
-I'm an animal lover.
- I have great self esteem, but little ego/arrogance. I know I'm not perfect or not always right, and that's ok.
- I read instructions when building something and I'm not afraid to ask for directions.
- I don't mind cooking and washing the dishes
- Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy.

As for work, I provide corporate IT support. This means I can fix your computer, configure your router, and set up your home theater system. Then I'll cook dinner and maybe bake some brownies. I'm handy like that.

-I like brains. Not in a zombie I-wanna-eat-your-brain way, but in a smarts=sexy kinda way.

-I don't mind emailing back and forth to start, but to know one is to meet one for coffee, or dinner, or a walk in the park, etc. You can only glean so much from emails, so meeting up is really best done sooner rather than later.

Finally, a little note: I am a strong believer in putting friendship first. If two people become great friends, and an attraction is there, a more intimate relationship will develop naturally as long as both parties are honest with each other. I don't like the idea of "dating" (or the pressures and preconceived notions that go along with it). When I meet someone it's as friends first. No pressure. No expectations. Just two people trying to get to know each other. Whatever happens from there (friendship, love, or nothing) will happen on its own.
