My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Carie, the AM are my initials so there's no hidden meaning behind it. Although, the "A" does stand for "Awesome." True story. Aside from being awesome, I am fairly easy going and I tend not to sweat the small stuff because caring involves effort and meh. I am very witty and horribly sarcastic to the point where most people can't tell when I am being serious or not. I was raised on Monty Python and other such things so I have a pretty warped sense of humor. But I am also painfully shy and a little awkward when you first meet me so it takes a bit for me to open up to people if I can talk at all. However, when I do open up I like to think I personify awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I majored in creative writing in college so now I am stuck working at the mini-mart as the self-proclaimed Goddess of the Mini-mart helping customers perform the simplest of tasks. I have great stories of dumb people that I would love to share with you sometime. (There are even impressions of regulars). It has given me great material for a book I plan to write about working at a mini-mart. Think Clerks but way more realistic. It's not the best job in the world but I make money to support my growing book habit and flexible enough where I can work job number two.

I also nanny my baby niece because I promised my brother and sister-in-law I would when they they got married. So I have a 7 day schedule at the moment. However, I like my jobs and have no intention to change now. I hate them from time-to-time, mostly because of the lack of sleep, but I make the best of it.

I am also trying to finish a novel I started in college but that's not working out too well but I am determined to finish. (I don't really want to talk about it).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a fairly good writer. I love to make people laugh even if it's at my own expense.
I am an avid bowler; I would say I am pretty good at it.
I am also really good at remembering names and faces.
I excel in saying really stupid and weird things when I am nervous.
I am also a class A rambler. Give me a chance and I will tangent the shit out of a conversation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never asked so I can't say for sure. My quick and witty sarcastic sense of humor and politeness, I hope.

I asked a friend about this and she said, "how bamf you are." So there's that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I've been reading a lot of YA dystopic fiction currently. I find it very entertaining. But I will read most anything so long as it interests me. Some of my favorite books include, Attachments, Elanor & Park, Fan Girl, Fight Club, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, In The After, The Legend Series, Warm Bodies. I know I am missing some. I also have a small girlie manga collection.

TV shows: Archer, Community, Bob's Burgers, Big Bang Theory (kinda). There are other shows but most of them have been cancelled. It's devastating. Everything I like is disappearing... I also have an obsession with Asian dramas. Mostly Korean but some Taiwanese and Japanese.

Movies: Of course, I like The Holy Grail, I was raised on it. Beetlejuice (favorite childhood movie, true story), The Dark Crystal, Fifth Element, Too Beautiful to Lie (Korean movie), Kamikaze Girls (Japanese movie), My Sassy Girl (Another Korean movie), Easy A, anything by Mel Brooks or Miyazaki, some old time black and white movies that I won't list. I will watch just about anything so long as it isn't super gory horror films. I do also enjoy watching terrible B-movies for the sheer awfulness of it all so...

My musical taste is very eclectic. I will listen to mostly anything. I like alternative rock mostly and anything I can sing to. I am a giant fan of Garbage. I also like Nirvana, Hole, and I'm a closet Fall out Boy fan. I am also really into K-pop; 2NE1 is my favorite but I also like Big Bang, Kara, SNSD, F(x). I also listen to a little bit of J-pop. Mostly Anna Tsuchiya, Tommy february6/heavenly6 and Halcali.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- My phone
- My ipod/music
- My computer
- Library card/books
- Those little sword tooth pick things that come in fancy drinks. Some people are all about the little umbrellas, not me. I have a jar of them on my desk should the need for a mini sword fight arise.
- Family and friends but I think that's implied. Moreover, people aren't "things."
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I have really random thoughts all the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home reading or watching Netflix or a k-drama... My friends are too cool for me on a regular basis. Not to mention I usually have to get up and work early on Saturday mornings so I can't do much.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an army of lawn gnomes. All of whom are named after US Presidents. It's still very incomplete but I am getting there. I call them my "gnarmy."

I also have two littler German gnomes named Blitzkrieg and Luftwaffe and a smaller Polish gnome named Chico who protects my collection of small bottles of alcohol. I will one day make a stop motion animation with them where the German gnomes cross the shelf they are on, knock Chico off and steal his booze in a symbolic reenactment of the beginning of WWII.

you can make me laugh and pique my interest, I guess. I am looking for a relationship that is one part Troy/Abed and one part Lily/Marshall so if you can make me laugh there is a good chance I will message you back.
