"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive." - Oriah Mountain Dreamer
ENFP-T - this is a thing, right?
What I’m doing with my life
A newish Chicago transplant (March 2014) and still getting to know the city. I'm enjoying grilling on my balcony and taking rides around town on my scooter (it's a Buddy 125).
I’m really good at
Procrastinating. My mom once told me I'm "naturally lazy." I'm sure
she meant it in a good way.
Foosball. But way better playing doubles than on my own. Care to
Oh...and the running man. I do a kick ass running man (usually when
songs of the Poison by BBD era pop up). Along the same lines, I'm
pretty kick ass at karaoke-ing "Shoop." Once I did it without the
lyrics in front of me and I'm pretty sure I nailed it.
The first things people usually notice about me
My dog, Lil' Emperor Norton. He's very small with a big
personality. One might call him a yappy dog. If one isn't
interested in getting to know me better.

Food: Anything and everything (except walnuts, pecans and raw bell peppers - allergic).
The six things I could never do without
My family and friends (is it cheating to count this as one "thing?" And are they really things? On my next edit, I will remove them and add something materialistic)
My knives (For cooking - I'm not some crazy weapon girl)
Restaurants (on the hunt for the best delivery food)
My dog - Lil' Emperor Norton is 8 pounds of adorable love
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I got through my first winter. Does that mean I seriously live here now?
Where should I next plan to go on vacation...?
Am I gonna make it through my half marathon on June 13 in Milwaukee without collapsing? (Update - did not collapse - beat my PR by 13 minutes - woot!) second update - did a 12 mile Tough Mudder in less than 3 hours in early Sept. Kinda feel like I'm crushing life right now.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Last Friday one of my best friends was in town from SF and we went
out to dinner at Duseks - yum!!! This Friday I might try staying in
and cuddling on the couch with my dog.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't know how private this is, but I watch an embarrassing
amount of television. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy obsessing over a
good book as much as going out and being social, but I also spend a
lot of time zoning out to some very good (and some very bad)
programming. It makes it that much better when my dog is asleep on
You should message me if
You like to eat and aren't super picky about it.
