My self-summary
I often randomly break out into song.
What I’m doing with my life
PR for the hospitality industry.
I’m really good at
Procrastinating. My mom once told me I'm "naturally lazy." I'm sure she meant it in a good way.

Oh...and the running man. I do a kick ass running man (usually when songs of the Poison by BBD era pop up).
The first things people usually notice about me
I've had people compliment me on my eyebrows. Kinda random, I know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV: Modern Family, Downton Abbey, The Killing, NCIS, Nashville, Revenge, New Girl, The Mindy Project, HIMYM, Always Sunny, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Dexter
Movies: Annie Hall, Love Actually, Godfather, Princess Bride, Neverending Story, High Fidelity, About a Boy
Music: Brett Dennen, Two Door Cinema Club, Pearl Jam, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Talib Kweli, Muse
Books: I'm going through a nordic crime thriller phase right now. Read a few books by Jo Nesbo and am moving on to a Swedish writer. Other books I enjoy: disturbing memoirs (Glass Castles, Lit, Running with Scissors), young adult (Hunger Games, Twilight), intellectual (Murakami - Wind up Bird Chronicle), historical fiction (Paris Wife, Loving Frank), straight up fiction (Vonnegut) oh, and let's not forget cookbooks. I probably own about 30 or 40 at least. Good reading.
Food: Anything and everything
The six things I could never do without
My family and friends (is it cheating to count this as one "thing?")
My scooter
Television
My knives (For cooking - I'm not some crazy weapon girl)
Restaurants (my neighborhood Thai place in particular)
My new community garden plot - so exciting!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The community garden plot I just got after four years on the wait list...and how I need to rent a car to go get some mulch and start starving those weeds already.

Where I'm going to eat in Italy and Paris when I'm there with my sister in May. And whether my Italian will be good enough by then to hold a conversation. Can't wait!
On a typical Friday night I am
Last Friday I was working at a big food and wine festival. On another Friday I watched a six hour Italian movie (which was really really good) to prep for a trip I'm taking with my sister this May. A few Fridays ago I was at an 80s birthday party dressed as a rollergirl (see photo with blonde wig).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't know how private this is, but I watch an embarrassing amount of television. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy obsessing over a good book as much as going out and being social, but I also spend a lot of time zoning out to some very good (and some very bad) programming.
