Today I went shopping for stripper shoes, Leftover Crack/Choking Victim records, and grapefruit spoons; that's probably all you need to know about me.

I live with my new black lab puppy, Skelly, in South Austin, and I am currently squandering my degree working at a bar. I generally make my own schedule, and I love the freedom that offers me. My priority right now is enjoying life; I’m all about the fun-tivities, good food and drink, and great friends. I’m sure I’ll be in the market for a real job soon, but I guess I’m just waiting for inspiration to strike. While I’m enjoying all Austin has to offer, I’m not sure I’m here for the long haul. I wouldn’t say I have the wanderlust, but with so many great places to call home, it’s hard to imagine staying in one place for too long.

I’m really good at a variety of things one should discover in due time. I can say I’m great at making small talk, but I think for the purposes of OKC, I’d rather have more meaningful conversations, I guess I’m alright at that too though. I’m really best with my words: talking, writing, what have you. I also make pretty great cappuccinos, smoothies, pasta salads and cocktails. Oh! And I might make the best terrible "your mom" jokes you've ever heard.

The first thing people usually notice about me tends to be either my eyes or my smile. Physicality aside, I’m talkative and have an opinion on just about everything.

This is by no means a comprehensive list:
Books: I love Hunter S. Thompson, Hemmingway, Vonnegut, David Sedaris, John Waters and Chompsky. I’m embarrassed to admit I really enjoyed the Hunger Games. I’ve had a lot of fun lately rereading those High School required reading books like Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Brave New World, Wuthering Heights, and Heart of Darkness. One of the best nonfictions I've ever read is Please Kill Me, and every once in a while, nothing hits the spot like a memoir.
Movies: Trainspotting (most Danny Boyle), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Pulp Fiction, Evil Dead 2, Amelie, John Waters flicks, all those Disney Classics I grew up on, the Brat Pack ‘80’s movies, and just about any comedy (although most of them are only worth watching once).
T.V.: The Office, Sherlock, The Walking Dead, Futurama, The Daily Show, Workaholics, Planet Earth, MST3000, Adventure Time, No Reservations, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Fraiser.
Music: Punk, ska, folk, so many great bands, don’t know where to start so I won’t, but I’d love to talk about it one on one.
Plus I freakin love NPR, but not the music, just the talky programs. Oh, and I'm a pretty big Martha Stewart fan.

3. The occasional visit to the adirondacks in the fall
4. My scooter (until I trade up for a motocycle) and car; nothing’s more freeing than being able to hit the gas and be miles away in no time
5. Divey bars
6. My cell phone (I don’t even use it that much, but I always panic a little when I forget it)

Death and taxes. Well, maybe not taxes, but finances. Crippling student loan payments are easily the biggest stress in my life.

I’m all about going out on week nights. Sunday through Wednesday are my jams, so come Friday, if I’m not working, I like to lay low. There’s nothing better than a small get together with good friends and a few cocktails. If friends do want to go out we never go to dirty 6th. The East side or Rainey Street are a lot more fun and I don’t feel like throwing elbows.

I probably get rejected more than anyone you've ever met, and I'm not sure anyone has ever truly loved me for who I am.

You should message me if you’re looking for a genuine connection, and maybe a partner. If you love to talk and can have fun in all sorts of places from class to scary trash and you get down with soaking up some culture or adventuring I’d love to hear from you. You should also hit me up if you enjoy making people smile, or laugh, or whatever, just happy. It also bares mentioning that I’m no stick figure, I have a pretty big butt, so if you’re looking for some skinny girl, you’re probably not going to like my womanly curves. If you’re into mildly intelligent women and are self confident, we might just get along. Most of all I’m looking for a person to share experiences with, who can show me new things and enjoys the same. DO NOT bother me if you’re from out of town and are looking for an easy lay on a visit, I already hate you.
