My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Looking forward to stopping regular work in 10 months and hoping to find someone who I love and love being with for travel, adventures and continuing to grow, learn and enjoy life. I am funny, sexy, caring and take good care of myself (most of the time!) I also look forward to taking the energy I have to expend on work to new interests, ways of being, and new horizons....I don't know what horizons that would be-but, I am open to envisioning the next stage of my life as something totally new including in a new place. I have lived in New Mexico for 30 years but, could be happy someplace else particularly with some humidity and water! I have experienced relationships that mutually make our lives better, easier and more fun and want this again.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in behavioral health 24 hours a week, enjoying my garden, dancing, just started back swimming, time with friends, and picking horses for the Belmont. Trying to find the time and energy to date.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a good intimate partner and friend, gardening, nurturing, dancing, cooking, having fun even while alone although this does get old!

I think I am good at evolving and growing and work at it-I am coachable!
The first things people usually notice about me

Good energy
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Orphan Black, Tatau, and hopefully Longmire . HBO and Showtime series are great. I love a good mystery, literature, and some non-fiction about interesting people, events. Just read Sarah Waters- Affinity and the Paying Guests, am enjoying Reed Farrel Coleman's "Gun Church"- he is funny. I love the blues, but also most music from Dengue Fever to Brazilian, rockabilly. Favorite CD's that I never get tired of are "Pink Panthers Penthouse Party", and music from Peter Gunn and Ultra Lounge collections. Love jazz- Stanley Turrentine, Joshua Redmond, Monk, Miles, Coltrane. Looking forward to summer foods with peaches- if my tree produces and my small vegetable garden.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music (including KUNM), art, good food, the love and support of friends, being in nature, opportunities to make the world a better place, being able to grow and learn in relationships and spiritually(not organized religion) as a person.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Being free and creative in retirement! Travel, moving forward to further growth and exploration, hoping there will be someone to share this with me!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unwinding from the week- alone, or with friends, hearing music, art scrawl or catching up with shows I like.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Just ask a question- what's private and in what context?

You think we might be kindred spirits. You are not a Republican, don't smoke cigarettes, are good at communicating, like to grow and evolve as a person, are looking for a partner who has friends and interests other than you, without addictions, don't believe creationism should be taught in school, and think that people should be able to grow pot for their own use whether you smoke it or not.
