I love fictional works, no matter how old I get. Robert Jordan,
Elizabeth Douglass, George R.R. Martin, J.R.R. Tolkien, Douglas
Adams, Dan Brown, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Hermann Hesse, Suzanne
Collins, & Herman Melville. I've recently relit my passion for
reading, so I will be updating this more often.
*Recently to get myself ready to go back and work on my degree,
I've been trying to absorb as many research articles as possible in
regards to the Psychological Aspects Stress Coping Mechanisms,
since I'm hoping to turn this into my focus once I return to
school. If you're interested in this and want to share research,
I'd love to bounce ideas off of you.
I love movies so much that I could never even get into this,
however, bonus points if you've seen "500 Days of Summer", "It's
kind of a Funny Story", "Perks of Being a Wallflower", or can
suggest a movie I HAVEN'T seen, and adore. I will watch, enjoy, and
LOVE anything with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in it (500 Days, 50/50,
Brick, Inception, Hesher, Angels in the Outfield, and Looper...).
50 automatic bonus points to you if you are also a huge fan of
In regards to Television, I watch: How I Met Your Mother, Dexter,
The Office, Archer, Community, Parks and Recreation, The Walking
Dead, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Wilfred, Sons of Anarchy,
Suits, and Game of Thrones. (Wow, when you list them all, I don't
know how I squeeze the time to watch these shows into my schedule
[probably at the expense of sleep]).
Music: I don't have a favorite artist, nor do I have a favorite
song. I feel that musical preference is so deeply personal, that
stating it on here would only bring about judgement. Some songs I
like, some I love, and some I dislike. Sometimes I find redeeming
qualities to songs I've typically disliked. I'd love for YOU to
play music around me that you enjoy, and see if I can make a
connection. Or better yet, take me to a live show of a band/artist
you enjoy, and let's see if you can develop my musical interests
I love food, and love eating. When I go out, I love going to hole
in the wall highly rated restaurants. I enjoy all food types, and
feel a desire to constantly try new things in all facets of life
(especially food, though). Some personal favorites, however, are;
Italian, Japanese/Sushi, Thai, Mexican, Spanish, Vegetarian,
Chinese, Mediterranean, Greek, Southern, & Brazilian. I've not
really met a dish, I've not enjoyed eating.
Edit: for the last month or so I have switched over to a completely
Gluten Free diet. Despite the fact that prior to this change my
entire diet consisted of something gluten related, I found that
switching over has not been that hard. I am an Omelet Artist.
Seriously, once prepped I can make you the best and most beautiful
omelet you've ever tried in under 5 minutes.
I eat a ton of chicken and fish, and am always finding new and
exciting ways of preparing each. Also, I eat a ton of rice. Gluten
