My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm the little mermaid who came ashore to find her prince charming. Apparently, he fell off his white horse and lost his memory/got kidnapped/got abducted by aliens, 'cause I haven't been able to find him yet.
When do I find him, I'll probably invade and conquer his kindgom, steal his horse, and send the prince on his merry way ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Now that's a good question. I'm... let's just say I'm trying to survive.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...singing off-key
...dancing off-rhythm
...staying up all night
...sleeping in all day
...pissing other people off
...annoying other people
...creating problems where there aren't any
...being introvert
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, that would be my hair, 'cause my hair is red. Really red. Ariel-the-little-mermaid red. Usually they go "Wow, you look like Ariel!" or ask "Your hair's natural like that?!"or they try to touch it. The first two reactions are ok, but the third one makes me want to bite their hands off. So then they notice I'm quick to react and prone to aggression. By that time they try to make their gateway, covering their heads as I proceed to hurl items at them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favourite food - have to say it's food that's in my mouth, but I also appreciate food that's on its way to my mouth ;) seriously - if you cook for me, I'll eat anything!
Music - Florence and the Machine. And then Florence and the Machine. And then some more of Florence. But also Eminen, Voltaire, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Czesław Mozil, the Offspring, also movie soundtracks... My mp3 player is full of pretty much everything.
Books - Pratchett and Gaiman will never get boring, then we have Stephen King, Joanna Chmielewska, Agatha Christie, China Mieville, The Adventures of Tintin (yeah, I know, it's a comic... so what? ;)), Lindsey Davis, Scott Westerfeld, Koji Suzuki, Andrzej Pilipiuk, Christopher Moore, Kate Griffin... but I'll read any book as long as it grabs my attention (book whore :D)
Movies - JURASSIC WORLD! MAD MAX FURY ROAD! PACIFIC RIM!! The Avengers and most MARVEL/DC screening :) The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, Jurassic Park (all three movies), The Thing (1982 and 2011) Alien saga, Predator saga, LoTR, Inglourious Basterds, Hobbit x 3, maaaany more... I adore horror, sci-fi, and adventure movies in general. Can't stand romantic comedies.
TV Shows - Star Trek, The Grimm, Whitechapel, Ripper Street, Sherlock, Elementary, Sleepy Hollow, Hannibal, Almost Human, Death Valley, Under the Dome, X-Files, Doctor Who, Dracula, Vera, Broadchurch... you might not even get me out of the house much because of them :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- a good book to pass the time (currently: re-re-reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld, AGAIN)
- paper and pencil - filling blank pages with what's inside my mind
- handkerchiefs - I'm allergic to b*llshit and stupid people, so I tend to sneeze a lot
- mp3 player - can't live without music, it's keeps me sane and calms down my inner voices...
- comfy shoes - heels, heels, go away, don't come back any other day
- lipgloss - dry lips, ugh, not nice :(
- pocket mirror - gotta check who's human and who's vampire, right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game. life. Boring, eh?
...what (or who) I want to do in my life.
...why I haven't destroyed humanity yet (working on it).
... how to "set fiiiire to the raaaaaiiin", 'cause it sound like fun!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
reading my favourite books/watching my favourite movies/relaxing/drawing/writing stories/meeting my friends/doing nothing and being happy about it ;)
Once in a blue moon I let myself be dragged out to a club or a home party.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nope, I'm not admitting anything without my lawyer.
