My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A good guy looking for a good girl (ok, maybe not that good). I'm a happy, friendly, energetic, outgoing, spontaneous and easy going man that brings fun and plenty of passion (a staple of life) without drama and am looking for the same. I, too, am in search of a true partner, lover and best friend.

Ok, I'd prefer to meet you in the real world than in cyberspace (apparently I'm more charming live than on paper :-)), but I just don't spend the time to do so. If you don't hear from me don't take it personally, I'm not playing the numbers game and might need a nudge.

I know what it's like to truly love and it would be great to get back to that place... should the right one come along, of course. And I'm completely open to finding love (no baggage). In the meantime, I always enjoy life as it comes and as I make it. My "list" of wants is short and hopefully so is yours. I'm not that missing piece that fits into your puzzle, but instead want you to join me in creating our own.

Your independence and whatever success you have created will be absolutely appreciated, admired and supported, but if you can't check your drive to be the boss at the door and meet me half way, then we're simply not going to work.

I love kids, am really good with them. Part of me is kicking myself for not having started a family by now (I was very close and actually played dad for 4.5 years), but now I'm not sure if it's too late at this stage? I'm certainly open to it with the right person, but am happy otherwise.

Playing sports (of all kinds) and engaging in various outdoor activities (some crazier, er, more challenging than others) have always been a huge part of my life. And, yes, I've done more than my my share of traveling (40+ countries and many of them more than once).

Oh, and I do all those things everybody else says they do.

Double-Oh, I really am 6'1" :-)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Moving forward to a whole new set of adventures...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I'm one of those guys who is good at many things and likes to participate at a high level, as well as just for fun, but my interests are too diverse to focus on being exceptionally great at that one thing (well, there are a few things ;)). I do not doubt I could be if I focused all my energy on it, it's that redundancy thing that bores me. I've been active my entire life, whether it be playing sports, outdoor activities, nature, music (I play a bit of guitar), learning and so on....
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I actually look like my photos (no surprises for you), and I've even been told I look better than my photos (does that mean I'm not photogenic or was she just being nice? ;-))
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Finally read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo... loved it. My tastes in movies and music varies widely... from international thrillers and intrigue to foreign films to action to life stories to educational to Harry Potter, and, of course, comedy (even romantic comedies). Don't bother trying to drag me to a scary flick, I simply won't go.

The same goes with music. Most anything done well can be enjoyable, maybe even sometimes hip hop and country ;-)

I'm warning you now that I love to pop into art galleries should we be passing by, so please be patient with me if it's not your thing.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
~ Good friends/family
~ Travel
~ Passion and affection
~ Nature
~ Exercise
~ Music
~ Creativity and spontaneity
~ Italian food. Wine. Burritos.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A little bit of everything and sometimes nothing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Typical? Is there such a thing? It really depends on the time of year, girlfriend / no girlfriend, friends, things going on.... I like to mix it up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Now, now... it wouldn't be private if I exposed it here.
