It's hard to describe myself, because I'm a lot of different, at times contradicting things. I'll try to make a list of some of those:
Open, fun, outgoing, frank, a restless traveler, queer, geeky, brutish, intellectual, party-animal, lab rat, singer, dancer, lover, hippie, feline.

Oh, and I'm originally from Israel, been traveling a lot and living in Berlin, Germany for most of the last 4 years.

I have a strong personality, so I wouldn't recommend me to the faint of heart or the prudish. I'm non-conventional in many ways, so you are more likely to like me if you're an open person...

I like honesty and frankness, and unlike most of humanity, I'm attracted to people who are attracted to me. I find that many people like playing the pull-push game. Well, I'm not one of them, so if you show interest it will make me interested, and if you don't, it will make me walk away.

Trying to find a postdoc in biophysical chemistry/microbial bioelectrochemistry and still stay in Berlin (ouch!), singing, learning to play guitar, trumpet and trombone, translating, going out and hanging out with friends, taking it easy in the mornings, and taking the World and life in, sometimes in big gulps and sometimes in tiny little sips.

Feline (the language), as well as other languages, Chemistry, cuddling, dancing, cooking, hiking, talking, thinking, observing, and some stuff that you'll just have to find out for yourself...

I'm not someone who blends in with the background, so I guess there are a number of reasons why people almost always notice me. To name a few symptoms: I'm tall, big smile, big blue eyes, big everything, a bit loud, dynamic. In a nutshell - I have a strong presence.

And that goes for books and movies too...

Food: if it's made out of good ingredients and cooked with love, I like it!

Water, food, sunshine, friendship, sex, being active

a lot of things. I'm a thinker. I like going deep. I like observing. Thinking about why people behave the way they do, on the micro and macro scale alike. Politics, science, nature, the mind, my body, spirituality. I like reading scripture and understanding what made people write them the way they did. Understanding things is really important to me. There are things that I can accept not understanding (such as: how the Universe came to be) and things that I go totally nuts if I don't understand (such as: What is the potential of zero charge of a SAM-modified gold electrode?; and Why does it take guys 5 days to text back?).

dancing, going to a gig, having a drink or dinner with friends, going to a Hausparty, rarely staying in. This is mostly true though for the rest of the week too, though on weekdays I'm more likely to take it easy and try to make it to bed by 2 am max.

The list is too long, I'm a very open person and I have almost no secrets. That said, I'd rather admit these things to you in person.

you're also a person who is attracted to people who are attracted to you. If you're into chasing people who don't want you and running from ones who do, I wish you and your "catch" partner a lot of happiness, but I'd rather not take part in the game :P

For friendship: if you like doing stuff such as taking walks, hiking, going out at night, listening to music, dancing, talking about life, the universe, everything, politics, spiritualism, science, why people are the way they are or things that haven't even occurred to me, please drop me a line! Also, if you're a beginning/aspiring musician and feel like making some music together. And of course, if you simply like what you see and want to get to know me...

For a roll in the hay: if you are respectful, considerate and fun. If you can move, are in touch with your body and have a sense of rhythm. If you like enjoying all senses and exploring the body and its sensations.
Late bloomers are particularly welcome, but it won't be held against you if you have lots of great experience ;)
