My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey There! My name is Tommy. I am an alumnus of UNCG. I work in Durham as a Broadcast Engineer. I used to live in Greensboro but I moved to durham for my job. I don't know many people in the area yet!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm living alone in Durham with my two cats and I'm working as a Broadcast Engineer. I work around 40-60 hours a week. I really enjoy my job. In my free time I go out with friends. I also go on a lot of road trips. I've been up and down the east coast and I'm hoping to plan a trip with some college friends to Colorado next spring.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Building stuff, fixing stuff. I spend my free time trying to learn new things or hanging out with friends. I also read a lot and I love watching movies.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Gaunt's Ghosts by Dan Abnett(I have an unhealthy relationship with Warhammer 40k books), Cosmos by Carl Sagan. 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke. In the Blink of an Eye by Walter Murch. I also studied a lot of Russian literature while in school. I love Heart of a Dog, Master and Margarita, Brothers Karamazov.

Movies: I love all things Gene Kelly, Red Dawn (the old one), Baraka, Samsara, Timescapes, 2001: A Space Odyssey (the film), Star Wars, Indiana Jones, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Breathless, The Battleship Potemkin, Strike, Toy Story, Man With a Movie Camera, Sálo, El Topo and other types of grindhouse-y stuff, countless others, No, Really, I can talk about movies for a looong time. I also have made a few films and collaborated with several companies and indy artists on projects. I am currently saving up to fund and make a documentary.

Shows: King of the Hill (Bwah!), American Dad, Breaking Bad, Futurama, Stargate, Archer, Family Guy, Louie is my favorite show of all though.

Music: I like music, I'm a Mid-West ATL rap fan(with a bit of Mystic Stylez thrown in). I'm a Dead Head. I have about 55 gigabytes of music on my computer.

Videogames: I have gotten into playing games from years back recently but my all time favorites are Final Fantasy 8, Dark Souls, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and basically every game Rockstar has developed. I also have built dozens of computers and have made a very small business out of it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, family, my two cats, movies, either a book or a video game to preoccupy myself when i'm not doing important things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. Where will I be in a few months. Work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night I am hanging out with friends or possibly working. My job makes me keep strange hours that change weekly.
