My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmmm... what to say. I guess this is where I tell you about how funny, witty, hard working, outdoors loving, caring, and happy I am... LoL

So what am I looking for??
Is there really such a thing as perfect? Let's be honest here... we can all talk about the 'tall, handsome, successful man who sweeps you off your feet and brings you flowers all the time guy, but lets get real here!!! LoL

Stability.. that's a good quality to have. Along with a great sense of humor, intelligence, sense of adventure, outgoing and honesty. Wait.. let's put honesty at the top there. Be honest..

So say hello if interested in having great laughs and good company :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have been working as a technical assistant for over 4 years now at a global ship engineering company and absolutely LOVE my job. I previously worked as a tour guide with a local ghost tour company that operates in Old Town Spring as well. I loved this and had great fun telling the history of this beautiful area along with exciting the minds of tourists with it's spooky side as well. Who knows, maybe we could take an evening walk through the small town and I can point out the scary details... *wink*
Music is a big part of my life. Being a lover of singing and performing, I hit up karaoke when I can. After taking a 5 year hiatus, I started playing in a handbell choir again. Never heard of or seen handbells? YouTube the Raleigh Ringers and you'll see what it is. I play the bass bells, and it's not as easy as it may look. Those suckers are HEAVY!!
Don't laugh, but last December I started LARPing. Not sure what that is? Think the movie Role Models. Lol
LARPing is a medieval fantasy role-playing game where you get to wear rennaisance clothes and hit people with foam swords. I play every Sunday up in Conroe and have a leadership role within the park as well. Some people have football, I have medieval battles. Lol
Outside of this I am spending time with my sister and friends, and trying to have fun doing whatever.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having a happy disposition and maintaining a drama free life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile is infectious!! I always have a happy disposition on life and will find the funny side of things despite the situation at hand. My motto? Why be a Negatron when you can be an Optimist Prime!!! (See what I did there? lol)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music is important to me. I grew up in a musicians household and have been exposed to a lot!! I listen to most anything depending on my mood or the situation. I love putting on a classic musical or Disney movie just to sing along, but then I'll listen to Indy Rock after, or maybe some Puccini. You'll sometimes find me singing the Indian Jones theme as I'm cooking, or listening to a Mexican radio station as I clean the house. It's all game to me!!

Movies: Old musicals, classic movies, Disney, Pixar, bad B/C rated horror, Zombies!!!!!

Books: Ok.. I will admit to my love of the Twilight series. NOT THE MOVIES THOUGH!!!!!
Other than that though, my favs include:
The Host (the Twilight author, but completely different and better)
LOTR trilogy and The Hobbit (Love Tolkein)
Water for Elephants (book is better than movie)
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (did I mention I love Zombies?)
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (a historical novel of the ex prez, but with vampire slayage)
most Jodi Piccoult novels
and whatever else catches my eye.

Oh... currently reading The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat by Oliver Sacks.
**Update: finished the above book and LOVED it. Hilarious and interesting all at once :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family!!!! They may drive me nuts, but they are most important too me.
2) Hobo, my dog
3) Nolli, my cat
4) Friends
5) Netflix
6) Self respect
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nothing specific really. I'm all over the place in my thought patterns.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Let's see..... Sometimes I'm running off to Kingwood to hang out with friends and my sister. We love going downtown as well, hitting up Flying Saucer and State Bar on our stomp towards Frank's. I also like to wander over to Big Texas on occasion for country music and karaoke, and even the occasional live band. LOVE Texas country!! But sometimes I'll go to the movies on my own and have dinner, or just stay in and BS with my roommate. It really all depends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Although independent I still get pretty lonely at times.
