I am genuine, hilarious, and quirky.
My Self-Summary
I'm a walking oxymoron who is slightly askew and a complete nerd
(but a cute nerd!). I'm still scanning the world trying to figure
out what I'm meant to do with my life professionally, but that is
secondary. I try to focus on life, which is too short, and who I am
as not defined by my career choices. But a gal's gotta pay the
bills so i'm lucky I love my job. I'm full of love and compassion
and humour and more than likely some kind of crass or dorky
comment. I know I was put on this earth to make positive changes
and bring laughter into people's lives, and most likely in
environments not conducive to such behaviors.
What I’m doing with my life
I used to work in TV and film in NYC before moving back to NJ in
2005 ago for a certificate in massage therapy and to work full time
at a college library while figuring out my next move.
I'm now looking into getting my MLS and hopefully soon becoming a
systems librarian since I enjoy both the book world as well as the
awesome world of technology. But I also spend my free time
designing and creating and doing graphic layout work as well as
photography. I just keep being drawn to higher education, i'm meant
to be in academia one way or another. I absolutely adore my job
working at a library with college kids, they make me feel young and
all still think i'm a student...I will cry the day someone calls me
"ma'am" who is not from the south.
I’m really good at
diffusing tense situations, giggling incessantly, spending
countless hours online designing or conversing or writing or
photoshopping, comic relief, spooning, throwing together an outfit
half asleep that ends up getting lovely compliments for the unique
ensemble, back scratches and massages, online gaming (oh yeah, I
will kick your ass), creating and assessing online digital fetish
art, photography, sending care packages with books and music to
people I care about, volunteering for the less fortunate, picking
out the right music for a mood.
The first things people usually notice about me
My ginormous eyes.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
books: Brett Easton Ellis books, and anything taboo and
controversial.
movies: dark comedies, indie flicks, mindless comedies and
blockbusters have their place as well. :-) Top 5 movies (this week)
include Heathers, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Election, Shawshank
Redemption, Spinal Tap. I will watch any Wes Anderson film or Cohen
Brothers flick, or anything weird and off beat.
music: Grew up on classic rock and punk, grew to love electronica
and trip hop/electropop which is now my default genre though the
spectrum is all over the place.
food: any carbs, veggies (I have been a vegetarian since 1996),
mashed potatoes (I AM Irish), eggwhite omelets...NO mushrooms, lots
of greens. :D
The six things I could never do without
1. My self respect 2. my family & Friends 3. Veggies 4. my
laptop 5. iced tea or water 6. chemistry in a relationship
I spend a lot of time thinking about
pretty things, ugly things, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, how i've
become an interesting mix of my free loving hippie mother and
grounded practical father, snuggling, possibly getting a tattoo (I
have a real attraction to Suicide Girl punks but I look like the
girl next door and don't even have my ears pierced), good porn,
vegetarian cuisine, how to help those around me who were brought
into my life for a reason, how to become a better version of
myself.
On a typical Friday night I am
At the movies, At home with a movie relaxing with a home cooked
meal and hopefully another body to snuggle with, Taking weekend
trips, Traveling up to NYC or Philly or New Hope or Princeton,
cuddling with my cats who are very important in my life so if you
are allergic you should stock up on Benadryl.
I don't drink or smoke, i'm no goodie two shoes either, but I am
not attracted to smokers of ANY kind. (not ALL hippies like myself
are into the devil's lettuce)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a real fetish for men with beards...not like Charles Manson
or rapist beards, I think there is just a laid back mentality to a
man with some scruff and maybe some longer hair. (I think it's my
hippie roots deep in my heart)
I also LOVE Roller Derby.
You should message me if
You want funtastic tet-e-tete and can appreciate a woman with
curves in all the right places.
If you have manners and tact and intelligence...and don't expect me
to cam with you and watch you beat off. I'm involved the virtual
fetish industry as a creative outlet, I adore talking about sex and
love and art and life, but I am not your virtual whore. I've still
got some morals even if I've got a very open mind.
