My self-summary
Spring is coming, I swear! And I am SO READY for the (slightly) warmer weather here in Seattle. I am ready to not have to turn on my heat at all - Currently I have to turn it on for about half an hour every day. And, omg, rain! (This paragraph can stay unchanged for a couple months now, since this is Seattle and it doesn't really change much.)

I like to say that I'm an "easy going" person. However, in consultation with a friend I have come to realize this is not true. An easy going person can invite someone over, and the guest can piss on the rug and the easy going person will just say, "Oh, that's all right, mate! I'll mop that up for ya." I'm more likely to slap said discourteous guest and kick them out while their pants are still undone. What I really mean when I say I am "easy going" is that I don't tend to create drama over nothing.

I like to keep myself busy. I am self employed and have a couple of regular social activities and hobbies that I enjoy, as well as the kind of friends I can just text at any time and hang out with them.

As far as hobbies, I am a sketch artist and painter. I do Tribal Belly dance 4-6 hours per week. I play D&D (well, we were playing Castles and Crusades, and are now switching to Pathfinder...), and sometimes play computer games like Minecraft.

**I am NOT poly.
**I am gluten intolerant. (joint pain)
**I am allergic to chocolate and coffee. (hives)

The first things people usually notice about me
Women notice my clothes. Apparently I have a good sense of style. I borrow it from my Fashion Gay - the guy I take shopping with me.

Men notice my butt. It's big. It's round. It's so out there. It's like those girls in those rap videos. Oh My God, Becky. (PS: I only very selectively like rap.)

SHORT Men notice how tall I am, and are either frightened or intrigued.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Ostensibly I prefer most books from the sci-fi/fantasy section of the book store. But the series I read and re-read the most is the "Earth's Children" series by Jean M. Auel.

Movies: I like a LOT of movies. Just saw Les Miserables and cried the whole film, quietly into my scarf. (wouldn't want to make a scene!) But I also really liked the Hobbit recently, and have a love for comedies and dramas as well. Only thing I really can't stomach are horror films - specifically Japanese or Korean horror films like The Audition (this movie haunts me to this DAY.)

Music: I like lots of stuff people think is crap. I like NIN, Tool, Deftones, Fear Factory also some 70s rock like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and The Doors... Lately I've been listening to Lady Gaga and P!nk and similar music... mostly because it's way easier to dance to. I recently discovered dubstep. A lot of it is pure crap, but sometimes they turn something I hate (christmas music, for instance) into something awesome.

Foods: Well, aside from the fact that I am Gluten-Free and allergic to chocolate and coffee... I really like steaks with salads. grilled shrimp, potatos, rice, beans, egg dishes, fancy flavorful cheese with flax seed crackers, most fruits, most vegetables, tea... stir-fry with peanut sauce (I make an excellent spicy peanut sauce with stir fry... well, I think it's excellent anyway.) My kitchen is disappointingly empty-ish much of the time, as I tend to buy food fresh when I'm going to make it, and then I make it and eat it and it's gone. >.>
The six things I could never do without
Right now?

My "fairie godmother" - he helps me pick out clothes and last summer when I was about to have a breakdown about a bridesmaid dress fiasco (regarding a wedding I was attending. Oh god, now you think I'm insane about weddings... I swear this is not the case!) he helped me to solve it in like fifteen minutes. Every straight girl should be assigned a gay man.

Heat. I may be from Minnesota, but I got away from there because I HATE being cold.

This super comfy mattress I bought last year. Spine has never been better.

A place to live. I've never been homeless, and do not plan to be.

My vacuum. I've got a cat and my hair is long. without the vacuum, my floor would be coated.

My computer. It's my whole entertainment system. games, movies, TV, music, you name it, if I'm at home, I'm doing it on the computer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This week in My Brain: Should I join the Seattle Women in Leather fetish community? Is it inappropriate to talk about these kinds of things on a dating site? It really shouldn't be, but I'm not certain what the policies on OKC are these days.

What is it about Capitol Hill that makes me feel so much more comfortable when I'm walking around by myself than when I lived in Belltown?

Can I afford a bigger apartment? My tiny studio is hardly large enough for entertaining.

Also, "oooh, Sudoku!"
On a typical Friday night I am
Generally at CCs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have about 2000 dollars worth of pirate and castle lego sets from the mid-80s to the mid-90s that I spent all my allowance, birthday and Christmas money on as a child.

I have a LOT of gay male friends. A. Lot. Don't ask me to count them, I cannot.

Oh, and the best compliment I ever received was "You are so beautiful, I SO want to be a drag version of you." no idea who the guy was.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 31–40
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
Message me if you are the type who will listen in certain... important... between the sheets style situations. If you are a "my way or the highway" type of guy, then please, the highway is only two blocks away. I will point the direction. Things are much better for both of us if we are BOTH having fun. Please be a little bit kinky. (by that I mean, more flavors than vanilla, but not quite venturing to blood or water sports. Hopefully that means something to more than just me.)

And it'd be nice if you were NOT polyamorous or looking for someone to screw on the side of your open relationship. (I realize that sounds bitter, but you'd be surprised how many poly dudes land on my profile)
