My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So disclaimer, I'm a pretty big nerd. I read geeky fantasy and sci-fi, and get me talking about space exploration or what we think is really going on in the universe, and you might be in for a long discussion.

But I guess it's for that reason that I make an effort towards taking care of myself and exercising. I want to see what the future holds, so I try to eat well and keep in shape.

I've been pretty lucky in that I've gotten to do a good bit of traveling over the years. I worked summers for a European based company, leading adventure tours for teenagers across different European countries. Made for some pretty epic summers!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Business systems analyst for a jewelry brand. Involves a lot of random junk, from web design to developing new systems for keeping our retailers happy and in a buying mood.

I'm big on having activities to fill up my week so life doesn't feel like it's 60% working and waiting for the weekend. Lately that means going to the climbing gym a lot. Or drunken movie nights with friends. Those are good too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Communicating, I guess. I really enjoy talking and listening to people, telling stories and crappy jokes. I enjoy writing either for work or personal reasons, and I've never really been uncomfortable with public speaking.

Also quoting movie lines. I can't remember actor's names to save my life, but I can remember half of what they said in any decent movie.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I suppose, that I'm fairly chilled out in general. Even when situations get a bit stressful, I can often maintain suitable levels of chill.

Also I don't wear matching socks. That's right. I have all different colored socks and I don't wear them in pairs. Deal with it!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

First things that come to mind..

Books - stuff by R.A. Salvatore, Terry Pratchett, Robert Jordan, also the Conan books. (The barbarian... not O'Brien.)

movies - Princess Bride, Men in Tights, The Indiana Jones Trilogy(the 4th one never happened), Django, Sunshine, Avatar

Shows- Hercules the Legendary Journeys (Yep, you heard me) Always Sunny, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Walking Dead, Californication

Music- By pandora station: RJD2, Daft Punk, Citizen Cope, Parov Stelar, Two Steps From Hell.

Food - Sandwiches. (I've broadened sandwiches to include burgers, wraps, and sometimes burritos btw.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer + The Internets
Something Physical to keep me going (Exercise, Biking, Rock Climbing are what I do the most of)
Cool adventures/ traveling
Progress- Social or technological
People and family n' stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What kind of person I'm turning into, where I'm going to end up.

Also whether or not there are aliens, and if I'll live long enough to hang out with them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the climbing gym, playing with my nephews at my sister's place, or engaging in couch related activities.

It depends on the type of week/day I've had.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My general nerdiness probably comprises the most personal thing I'd want to get into just yet.

Since I already mentioned that I guess I could add ... I don't think I've ever set foot in a body of water without thinking about sharks, shark attacks, and general shark related things. I mean i still go in and all.. I'm just aware of the possibility. Even when it's not really all that possible.. Remember that Bond movie with the sharks in the swimming pool? What's to say there aren't sharks in other pools??
