My self-summary
I love music. Put me in the middle of a crowd at a gig and I'm in heaven.

I'm a Birmingham lad born and bred and have a degree in History and Politics and a masters degree in Contemporary History (not that they're related to anything I now do with my life).
What I’m doing with my life
Guiding young people in the mystical arts of " Online Marketing". I lead a team of apprentices in a specialist travel agency. It's pretty cool, I get to spend my time creating content and teaching the team things.

Well, there's a bit more to it than that, but it's still an awesome job and I get to go on free cruise holidays as part of " market research".
I’m really good at
Creative things. If there's an opportunity to brainstorm something and think outside the box that's where I'm likely to be.

I like making people laugh as well, and am normally at the centre of a joke.
The first things people usually notice about me
Two things stand out I think. First my sense of humour; I'm a great believer that you need to laugh as much as possible. The second thing people notice about me is linked to this. I've been told I have " cheeky smile" which comes out when I'm telling a joke.

So if you like to laugh we should probably talk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Lots, big fan of Terry Pratchett, quite like John Steinbeck as well. Brett Easton Ellis, Mario Puzio and Charles Stros also figure quite heavily.

Comedy and Crime dramas are my staple T.V diet. Anything from Black books, to South Park, to Law and Order, Psyche and Criminal Minds. I like laughing and guessing "Who dunnit?"

Too many films to list. I have a 6ft tall bookcase FILLED with DVD's. It's easier to list the sort of films I don't like... there aren't many. I've got a soft spot for Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks films though. Toy Story, How to train Your Dragon and the Lion King. What's not to love?

I have an eclectic taste in music to say the least. Heavy Metal, Blues, Folk, Jazz, RnB all feature in my collection. In terms of Bands/ Artists, I love Richard Thompson, Graham Parker, Sonata Artica, Devil Driver, Seth Lakeman and Show of Hands.

I love Chilli con Carne and am damn good at cooking it. I I also love curry, Anything with spice in it really. Not so hot as to melt your eyeballs, but it's got to have a kick to it.

Basically I just enjoy cooking, whether its for myself or, ideally, a meal for two.
The six things I could never do without
I really like music, so I suspect if I lost my hearing I'd go insane. So pretty sure that counts as something I couldn't do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Far too much.

I tend to think about music and try and compose tunes in my head, think up things to write about and generally get lost in my imagination.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chowing down on some takeaway as I watch films with my mates. Getting my ear drums burst by a live band. Or just sat down relaxing reading a book/ watching a DVD with a glass of something alcoholic ( I like Wine. Wine is brilliant).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have yet to sit through "Muppet's Christmas Carol" without crying when Tiny Tim dies. I honestly don't know why, but that scene always gets to me.
