Though I am somewhat skeptical of the empiricism of the MBTI, I find that in so far as it describes me it is pretty damn accurate, so I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.
I'm a reasonably intelligent dude with a quick-wit and an irreverent sense of humor. I often make incredibly off-color jokes and while I feel that Political Correctness has very noble intent, I have little patience for the policing or limiting of speech and expression.
A little reserved with new people, but outgoing and socially competent. I am often passionate about my beliefs and can be very assertive with them. I enjoy argument as mental exercise and will sometimes argue from the other side of the debate as a method of understanding it, as well as finding the weaknesses in my own argument. I am often direct, which might be a turnoff to some.
I am a Secular-Humanist. Philosophically I vacillate between Existentialism and Utilitarianism. Politically I'm straddling the divide between Libertarian Socialism and Democratic Socialism. Though I have learned to be more diplomatic, I am sometimes at odds with people as I am very opposed to anything which resembles dogma or sloganeering, even if it's for something which I support.
