I have an obsession with increasing my knowledge specifically in the social sciences and philosophy though this obsession has plateaued this year and has probably been overtaken a little by my obsession with tennis but this could easily change again.
I studied philosophy and maths at uni.
If I didn't have to work my daily activities would consist of playing tennis, reading, and writing music or fiction and a few times a week I'd be at one of Sydney's small bars drinking wiskey with friends and be out dancing at least once per week. Like everyone else I'd certainly throw in an international change of scenery here and there. Fortunately I only work a little more than part time hours so my self indulging isn't curtailed that much.
Left political principles are fairly important to me insofar as I generally dislike discrimination against any particular demographic and think redistribution of wealth and intensive government regulation is a good thing. I wouldn't really care which way you voted though so long as you have an intelligent defence of your position.
My general sense of self is determined by the fact that I've spent a lot of time in Sydney university arts subjects and have been saturated with the ideologies you'd find there. I'd say I'm content with this situation.
