I moved out to the Bay Area after having spent my entire life on the other side of the country. I'm lucky enough to have many awesome friends out here, and I'm hoping to meet people for friendship and more, if there's a connection.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently trying to figure that out. I have a lot of ideas I'd like to implement, but I want to see how my current job continues for the next couple of years to see what I want to do next.

I’m really good at

making a fool out of myself, baking, kissing (or so I'm told), and finding random things to do for fun.

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile and my sense of humor.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I can't lie - I love the Harry Potter books. I also really enjoyed Water for Elephants and 11 Minutes.

Movies: Way too many to mention, but a few random ones: Cube, American Beauty, Kill Bill, Heathers, Mean Girls, and most bad horror flicks.

Music: Anything I can dance to.

Food: Everything? Indian, Thai, Chinese, Ethiopian, West African, Pizza, Italian, etc.

The six things I could never do without

A recent backpacking trip let me to realize that I could never do without good food. Three days of granola and other hippie food made me appreciate real food. But overall, I suppose I only really need good food and good friends, besides the obvious ones, like air, water, etc.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the flying trapeze. Seriously, I have become addicted. I also sometimes think about what I want to do with my life, but those aren't necessarily mutually exclusive ;-)

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends, watching a movie or playing a game. Sometimes dancing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

isn't really interesting enough to go under such a scandalous sounding section.
