Hi,
I am a caring, inquisitive and energetic person who is looking for a sweet, kind lady. I would love to find my new best friend with whom I can share new jokes and grand ideas. Someone I can race off to the lake with if the feeling strikes us. Or maybe we can simply laze around in the morning and later enjoy a relaxing lunch together in a small diner.

I am a simple person who loves a relaxing life. I also enjoy discussing big ideas and having conversations about complex social or intellectual puzzles. There are times when I like to simply hang out and take it easy and there are times when I am drawn to action. While I am open to flights of wild imagination I am also firmly grounded in reality and live in the present tense. I am not a person who dwells much on the past. “Never look down, never look back” has always been a favorite motto of mine.

I am not a materialistic person. I live a simple poets life. I am romantic and sentimental at heart. I enjoy the small things (both giving and receiving) like little notes in a lunch bag, holding hands, stealing kisses, cooking together, a simple text message just to say hi. Its the little things that make life grand.

I like to take long walks with my dog, watch movies, draw, write stories and poetry, do photography, play games, hike and read. I am a voracious reader and almost always have 5 or 6 books going at the same time. (love my e-reader!!!) I have just discovered a new hobby - geocaching. It combines hiking with treasure hunting! So much fun! Want to go?

I am not a sports fan so I will never take up a whole weekend day watching sports on television. I would much rather be spending time with someone fun.

I am not a big traveler. My idea of a fun trip is heading to California to visit the beach or going to Las Vegas for a fun weekend. I also would enjoy a trip to Prescott or the Grand Canyon.

I am a single Dad and I have my golden boys Monday through Monday every other week and often more. I absolutely adore them!

I do have some allergies so if you are a smoker or love cats we will probably not be a good match. Other than that I tend to be very agreeable and adaptable and I am always open to new ideas.
Here is a poem I wrote that tends to sum up my day

The day is rising
Smiling into my face
My body tingles
From its irrational mirth

Music on the wind
Joins the gleeful chorus
Cascading through my mind

My amusement flows
And basks
In the days bright promise
Feeding on its wondrous glory

I like all kinds of book and usually have several going at the same time. I love my e-reader! Recently read the Steve Jobs bio, Photography magazine, Jack Reacher Novel by Lee Childs, Stephanie Plum novel by Janet Evanovich and many others.

Movies trend to fall in the action or comedy genre although I am open to many others.

Music - I tend to prefer rock, blues, jazz and reggae but will listen to most except country and rap.

My two favorite foods are Mexican and Italian but I am open to others. I do have some food allergies which limits me somewhat.

I have two golden boys whom I just adore. It goes without saying that they are first and foremost on any list of what is important to me. Beyond that...

I love to read, write and do photography so I usually have a journal a pen/pencil my kindle and a camera with me almost all the time. I also love to go on hikes and, recently, geocaching. I sometimes have a hard time sitting still and I like to be doing things.

Wait... Was this supposed to be a list? Oh well, me and rules never really mixed well anyway.
