Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a kind & intelligent guy who is very grounded in my family
& friends. I love to read and spend part of my time doing
community-building work. I am a researcher by profession, but see
that as a result of my love of being a student. One of my dreams is
to write a novel some day & find a great like-minded person to
share the adventures of living. I am also a solid Leftist and a
person of religious faith ( a bit of a mystic really). I know this
is an odd combination in the US, but if you can't deal with either
or both of these things, it's best to connect with other folks than
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The only thing I really have to do with my life is use each day to
learn and love. The rest is really details. In my case, one of the
important details is that I am a cultural anthropologist who
specializes in alternative sexual and gender cultures in the US.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening to people and connecting them with good reads and
like-minded souls. I love to see my friends connect and build
supportive friendships. I'm relentlessly gregarious and a social
hub in a way. I notice shy people connect with me easily for some
reason. Perhaps because I find them intriguing and know they have
an awesome inner life. My sister says I am a collector of people
and ideas and never things. Little sisters do have their
charms and insights after all.

I'm funny and smart and like to make people feel they are the
center of my attention when we talk because they are.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My PC
2. My books
4. Egg Creams
6. Beautiful Ties
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Writing my first ethnography and my first novel --- in that order.
But, I could live with doing it the other way around.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I like to relax at home or just go to a lounge.

revolution is love, and would like to try my cooking.
