My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born in Colorado, but moved around a lot, especially as a kid. My dad was in the military and I seem to get the itch to move every few years. My family lives in the DC Area, and it's nice to jump on the train for a visit.

Some of the other places I've lived include, Belgium, South Korea, Paraguay, Hawaii, Los Angeles, Boston, North Carolina, Seattle, Minneapolis, and most recently Phoenix before moving to the area.

I like trying new things, and exploring. I enjoy spending time out in the city learning about this amazing city. When I get the chance, I love getting outdoors. I especially love hiking and Stand Up Paddling, and I try to get away from the city to indulge those passions when I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a master of useless information. I'm the partner you want to have on game night. If only knowing, everything there is about old TV shows like Arrested Development, Lost or Battlestar Gallactica, paid off like I think it should.
I also am a closet Stand Up Paddleboard Evangelist. I'm constantly trying to get people into the sport and have multiple boards. I also am pretty active and an Asst. Organizer for a Meetup Group. Message me if you want to get on the water.
The first things people usually notice about me

Maybe it's my smile. I don't take myself too seriously and I really like to laugh.

It's hard for me to pick a specific book that I love. I have read most management and leadership books, and I'm trying to focus on books for pleasure right now. If you've got a suggestion tell me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family. They are always there for me when I need them, and I try to be there for them even though they live far away.
2) Working out. I love biking, running and my Bootcamp Class. I always feel so relaxed and centered after working out.
3) My friends. They are scattered across the country, but always a short trip or call away.
4) My iPhone. I like to keep busy, and the calendar app keeps me on time.
5) The sun and water. I love being outside and I'm in heaven when I'm on a Paddleboard.
6) I love challenging myself and the journey towards my goals fulfill me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I can get out of the city to get on the water. I think about how much I'd like to live on a beach, but then remember how much the city energizes me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no such thing as a typical Friday night for me...
I work retail, so... sometimes I'm working, but when I'm not I'm either, working out, meeting friends for dinner and drinks, or at home reading or binge watching a show on Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not always the most graceful person in the world... I once slammed the rear gate of my Jeep onto my head. I don't know if that's really private, but it was really fun explaining to people why I had a Harry Potter scar in the middle of my forehead for a couple months.
