My self-summary Propose an edit

Took a hiatus from this site...and all the others. Got tired of the BS and some of the pretentious and just looking for hook-ups people. My new realization is that all the great guys live more than 4 hours away from ya'. What do you guys think? I'm at a point in my life where I know I want love...a relationship...a partner. My clock's just tellin' me so. Not desperately seeking...but I'm giving some effort to help fate along. I'm seeing who and what's out there, hoping I'll come across someone that "rings my bell". I'm in no hurry...so I'm taking it slow. Gotta go on dates to see what someone's like and get to know them. (I mention this, as it sounds like I'm beating the subject to death because, I'm not a big believer in love at first sight...but if you find someone who wants and values the same things as yourself...and attraction is there or springs forth...then you can think about jumping in. =) An almost 3-year relationship was blown up this year...a few of my pieces are still being picked up. *wink) I was going to school to become a licensed esthetician (skincare, facials, waxing, spa stuff) and finished OCTOBER 28, '08!!!! (Now I just have to get my license. Woohoo!!) I watch dvd's a lot...gather as MUCH good music as I can...and then try to sleep in the meantime. I'm spiritual, but not religious in any way. I LOVE board games and card games. Oh...and I like malls and taking care of myself. Call it high maintenance...I call it "keeping up appearances". Come on y'all (in my best Britney accent)...it's moisturizer and sunscreen (SPF 30+ guys)...and if you've got flaws...COVER 'EM! A little concealer goes a long way (BLEND!). =P Take me for my humor. I joke a lot and don't take life too seriously. If you can't laugh at yourself, don't laugh at others. =D

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I was going to school at Graham Webb and working full-time. BUSY! =P I wanna enhance YOUR skin! I'm done with school!!!!! I can't believe it. Time to get that esthetician's license!

Wookin' pah nub. =P

If anyone would like information on the school and the pricing...don't hesitate to message me. It's in Rosslyn and we do facials, back facials, and waxing services. The prices are GREAT considering the service and treatments you receive.

Shopping. Throw me in the Marshall's or TJ Maxx and LOOK OUT! I'm a clearance/bargain digger...but for the good stuff! Recommending skin products. Right now I'm in LOVE with Bioelements and Pevonia.

"He's also really good at making people laugh. I've stopped counting the number of times I've piddled while talking with him. - I guess I really should get that checked out, huh?" -JoeSTL69

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

My sandals, iPod, moisturizer, Lucky Jeans, fruit, good company

(my Charmin Freshmates came in a CLOSE seventh)

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

The meaning of life...and what to do with myself. Human behavior. If we'll all have that "awakening" someday. Love. What it is to love, make love, create love...is it really all just chemicals and the desire to procreate and experience temporary euphoria?

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Doing laundry, sleeping. Maybe getting back to doing fun stuff after school is finished. =D (update...school IS finished...and now I think I need a PT job =P)

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit

"I've got a CRUSH on you!" j/k I'm not really private...ask away.

When I was 3 or 4...my mum let me pick out a Strawberry Shortcake costume and wear it to a church Halloween party. =D I think they refer to that as your gay root. *shrugs Yes...I was teased...but...I was a cheap, plasti-vinyl Strawberry Shortcake for a night. =D

I have moobs. =P

My mind tends to roll in the gutter.

Who knew pop music could be so relatable to real life?
