My self-summary
Overall, I'm a goofball. I don't take myself too seriously and I'm sooo not easily embarrassed. I can be entertained and amazed by some of the oddest and most trivial things in life. I was born and raised in Atlanta by two country and cultured parents. So, I guess I could be described as a country boy with a damn good city costume. A gentleman but, not conservative.
What I’m doing with my life
Constantly searching for the perfect laugh. It is much more important to me to acquire and amass experiences than to collect things. I currently run the editing department for a reality tv entertainment company but, my heart lies in the voice overs that I do on the side. I can't hold a note to save my life but my voice is probably my best gift.

Also, I just started taking Tai Chi classes. I am hooked! I would recommend it to anyone who is need of focus or balance in their life.
I’m really good at
- Paying attention. I'm a great listener and, I'm highly observant.
- I can befriend any animal. Kinda Tarzan-ish, it's rather freaky.
- Cooking. The men in my family cook so I spent many evenings and weekends with my grandfather over a grill or my pops over the stove.
- Crossword puzzles and word games. I also get a kick out of coining a new term or turning a pun or two.
- Identifying ingredients and or smells. My Spidey senses are off the charts
- Slinging beer bottle caps. My years as a bartender in DC allowed me to learn how to hit any object within 10 to 12 feet with a bottle cap. I'm deadly, yo.
Listening to multiple conversations. I am almost positive that I was a spy in a past life. I have to know what's going on around me at all times. OH, and I always know where the exits are.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either my beak-like nose or my abnormally low voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: I'll eat anything but anchovies. Really, anything.

Movies: Trading Places and the original Arthur are my kind of comedies. I have many more movies that I love but, those two make my stomach hurt and my cheeks tired from laughter.

Music: Anything but this new fangled country music. I'll take the classic country any day. I guess I lean towards soulful music. Motown, Thelonious Monk, Roy Ayers, Galactic and, Soul Rebels Brass Band are what I'm listening to currently. The song that will play at my funeral is "Zoom" by The Commodores.

Books: I'm a newspaper reader. Washington Post, LA Times, AJC, WSJ, etc... I like facts, not fiction. I enjoy a great story told orally but, I tend to fight with authors in my head when I (attempt to) read novels. *UPDATE* My best friend asked me to read Zen And the Art of Happiness...it was dope.
The six things I could never do without
My Dog
Sports
Talk Radio
Sneakers
Fresh Socks
Hoodies ( I feel invisible when I put my hood up. But, not all hoodies are equal. The actual hood must fit comfortably.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Women, in general. Such a typical male in a very primal and carnal way. And, this doesn't mean I only think about sex. It means that I study women. My parents divorced and my mother was such a specimen to me, a prototype. So, I have always remained intrigued by how a woman moves and shakes through life as well as why this is so. Aaaaand, I think about sex, too. I am a man.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out in the streets without a plan or at home plotting world domination with my dog. She'd make a bad-ass dictator, for sure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Yeah, i'm not really what you would call a private person. But, just to put something here...I cry whenever I watch Rocky II, at the very same scene. Rocky leans in to Adrianne's ear in her hospital bed and she says "win". The ring bell rings, the theme song plays and I am a dripping mess. Eh, not proud of it but, it happens. Every time.
