Finally made it north of the border again after years of living in England and love Glasgow but hate the commute to Edinburgh.

I've no kids of my own (my husband died 15 years ago) but my nephews mean the world to me. I take my oldest nephew to Download festival now and my youngest ones to Peppa Pig World!

My favourite down time would be a huge mug of tea (chai preferably) and a good book on my kindle. I love just being out and about in Glasgow either in town, the Merchant City or the West End.

My favourite time is being out with friends - out for dinner, or a quick meal before heading to the Stand or theatre or a gig.

I'm an HR Manager currently working for (ssh) RBS (did I really say that out loud?). It's what I do away from work that is important and defines me though. I cook, bake bread, drink wine and whisky with friends and family.

Just started reading The Lewis Man trilogy, love Christopher Brookmyre, Jo Nesbo, Michele Giuttari. I love baking bread, and focaccia. I enjoy cooking but prefer when I'm cooking with company. Fantoosh Fish has become a new favourite shop with their amazing range of fresh fish and shellfish. Cafe Gandolfi and Gandolfi Fish are my favourite Glasgow restaurants but I'm a regular at Wudon, Stravaigin and Cafe Alba too.

Music - rock, punk, metal, classical, house, dance, trance, pop. I love going to festivals and get to Download and TiTP when I can.

Sad to say I rely on my iPhone or iPad.
