I am a traveller, curious, wow, still alive, and totally unscathed.
My Self-Summary
I've traveled so much I don't even know where I come from anymore.
I grew up in France, where everybody drinks
wine while waving white flags. No really
they do. Then I came to Australia and I started missing the wine,
the white flags, and the cheese. Then I woke up one day, quit my
job and traveled to Asia where I would drink
Guinness and eat baguettes. It was
great. And now I'm back... The prime minister is actually a
different guy, Big Kev and Steve Irwin are dead, and CityRail is
telling people to drink water ?! I'm not sure this is the same
country !
What I’m doing with my life
Falling off
volcanoes. It's true, I body boarded
on rocks, stabbed myself with a branch and face planted myself on a
tree stump. You certainly do feel alive when you step in the shower
after this. I tried jumping off 7 metre cliffs wearing a life
jacket. I fell from the sky holding on to little else than a large
piece of thin fabric in an attempt to keep myself away from certain
death. You'd think all that would hurt you but actually, riding a
bicycle is what gets you these scars. I try to make good use of my
travel insurance. Finally I will quote Jeremy Clarkson: "Speed does
NOT kill. It's the sudden stop that gets you."
I’m really good at
Confusing my fellow citizens about my origins. Days of watching
British TV,
working with Americans, living in Australia and speaking French to
family have enriched my accent a little bit.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Hey, you're not actually wavin.. OH MY GOD your face !" If you
send me a message, I am happy to tell you the whole story.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
You'll notice the quote above is inspired from Fight Club, I am a
fan of
Edward
Norton movies. I enjoy watching eccentric movies like
that.
Zombie
movies!
I like French and Japanese food. Long live Sakai Hiroyuki.
Yes yes, I've read Da Vinci code, and then I spared myself the
movie since it was CRAP to begin with.
The six things I could never do without
Cinnamon
A series of
tubes
Green tea ice cream
Friends
The safety demonstration video on the airplane... wait how do you
put on a seatbelt again !?
Possibly you
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Caffeine.
Where the hobbitses are being taken.
Why M&M's melt in my hand when the commercial clearly said they
wouldn't.
Why Japanese police is so free. I once walked in a post office to
withdraw some cash, and about 15 police officers were crammed in,
dusting the ATM for fingerprints. I asked about it and the Chief
told me a 'stalker stole the money'.
Tart. You are what you eat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Overseas.
Meticulously pouring a Guinness.
Ruining my face.
Booking the next appointment with the
Red Cross for blood donations.
Looking for more ways to get hurt and perhaps one day require my
own donations.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I suffer from a poorly understood but genuinely awesome genetic
condition, the
photic sneeze reflex.
You should message me if
You are not the 'stalker' in question.
